Yahoo league - Waivers / free agent pickups allowed during playoffs? (1 Viewer)

First time in a yahoo league; private league. The commish can't seem to tell me whether or not free agent pickups are allowed during the playoffs. Anyone know?

I think so. My memory sucks, but I think I was able to do it last year. FWIW, I sent an email to our commish asking the same question. I'll let you know what he says.

Rosters don't lock until a team is eliminated from contention.

Losing teams that made the playoffs will continue in the loser bracket, so they get a few extra weeks to make moves.

I wrote this same question to Yahoo cuz our commish did not know and said Yahoo handled it. They said ...

"There is no deadline or limitations placed on free agent and waiver transactions."

I do not know if that is specific to our league, but our commish said he could not find a place to change that.

There is an option under "commisioner tools" called "lock teams" where you can lock drop adds....not hard to find. There is also an option when you first set up the league to set a date....you should find that under league set up(or something like that) which shows how the positions, scoring, waiver dates are set up for the league.

If your league didn't set a date in the beginning, probably shoudn't set one up now.....
