Yankees @ Fenway (1 Viewer)

I usually enjoy the whining and fighting that takes place between these two teams. This should make for a great series.

While the surprise team in the division has been Baltimore (or Tampa in a bad way), it's still early and NY/Boston figure to be there at the end.

As a Yankee fan, I usually hate when they play Boston this early in the season. I must admit though, with the Sox off to an 0-6 start, this series has juice.

I bet on cleveland every game of that series. Nice 1.5 to 1 payout each night.

I will be breaking that streak and will not be betting against Boston tonight.

Boston lineup:

Crawford LF

Pedroia 2B

Gonzalez 1B

Youkilis 3B

Ortiz DH

Drew RF

Saltalamacchia C

Ellsbury CF

Scutaro SS

NY lineup:

Gardner LF

Jeter SS

Teixeira 1B

Rodriguez 3B

Cano 2B

Swisher RF

Posada DH

Granderson CF

Martin C

I not a Yankees fan but I'm rooting for a New York sweep. The Sox starting 0-9 would be hilarious. Fans would be lining up to jump off the Green Monster.

I like the way you think. That would be a blast. I generally go against the Yankees but will be pulling for the pinstripes this time.

let's not get out the anointing oil just yet, holmes.

I'm just saying they've been a surprise thus far. They have been. I'm not sure how that means I am anointing anything.

Props to the Fenway faithful cheering Mariano during introductions.
 I do like the fans of both teams when it comes to their knowledge and general respect for the greats playing on the other team. Anyone see the interview with Pedro? He's really plumped up. Reminds me of that Senator from the first X-Men movie that turns into water right before he explodes. Red Sox off to their worst start since 194something.

WTF happened to Lackey? I remember him from his LA days. He was never great but I can't ever recall him looking this awful. Just tossed a meatball down the middle and Cano smacked a double bagger to drive in the two guys Lackey walked.

On the over 10 tonight (documented in wagering thread). Shooting for 4-0 on sox wagering this year.

Gotcha. Yeah, Lackey is lacking some luscious, pouty, kissable lips.

Lackey looks like an poor man's Jamie Moyer out there.

These teams are spitting images of each other. Both have great lineups, both have bad pitching. I like Yanks BP better and Sox SP slightly better. As weird as it sounds the biggest difference between the teams is Catcher.

Scutaro is clutch. Bases loaded base hit. Joba continues to suck. Boston looks to win the series. It seems all Boston needed to get in the win column was to play the Yankees!
