Yankees @ Fenway (1 Viewer)

It seems all Boston needed to get in the win column was to play the Yankees!
For all the huffing and puffing, they picked up one game on New York. BFD.
They won 2 games. They had none. This has to be a huge mental boost to Boston.
Did you think there was a fair shot of them going 0-162?
No. But I thought there was a fair chance they were going to finish under 500. These wins mean that won't happen.

I'm just glad to know the results for the next 153 games are set in stone because they are 2-7 instead of 1-8 or 0-9.

Pretty sure when Boston is celebrating another World Series victory months from now they'll look back at this as a major turning point in their season.

I don't think they'll finish under .500 for the season either, but what in the holy hell are you trying to say?

Sox headed to NY now, 5 games back of the Yankees (and 3 games back of 0.500).

Friday, May 13th @ 7:05 PM

Clay Buchholz, RHP (3-3, 4.19) vs Bartolo Colon, RHP (2-1, 3.86)

Saturday, May 14th @ 7:10 PM

Josh Beckett, RHP (2-1, 1.99) vs CC Sabathia, LHP (3-2, 2.89)

Sunday, May 15th @ 8:05 PM

Jon Lester, LHP (4-1, 2.96) vs Freddy Garcia, RHP (2-2, 2.61)

First game...I will believe the fat man can pitch when I see it. Until then, I am leaning toward Clay winning this one

Second game is the only matchup that looks great on paper. Both pitchers dealing, this is a close one. Give the edge to CC at home

Third game, smart money is on Jon.

I think the Sox win 2/3
