Year of the QB, huh? (1 Viewer)

What if we have a final four of Rodgers, Alex Smith, Tim Tebow, and TJ Yates (doesn't get much less ridiculous if you insert Flacco there)?

Just when it looked like the NFL had become the arena league and winning without a HOF caliber QB has been impossible for last 7-8 years, things could get really weird in a few days.

It would still come down to who wins the SB. No one (in the copycat league) ever remembers who lost the championship games and the SB. SF vs The Tebows in the SB and then a big ole can of worms gets opened.

Let's just wait for a few more days. A Final Four of Rodgers, Brees, and Brady pretty much correlates with the Year of the QB storyline. Ben could well be there, too, if it weren't for injury.

True. I wouldn't bet on it, but Alex Smith playing in the SB wouldn't be completely crazy. NO isn't good on the road and they could be the best suited to pulling of a win in Lambeau. Highly unlikely, but no crazy. There's all kinds bad-mediocre options in the AFC. Somebody's just got to beat the Pats, who haven't won a playoff game since Bush was in office.I'm pretty excited about a potential Smith-Yates SB.

Good point.

Wouldn't we put Eli over Rodgers if we want the most ridiculous options available? Then we wouldn't have a single guy who seems likely for the Hall.
