Yes, I'm overthinking this, but... (1 Viewer)

hear me out:

Am thinking that THIS is the week that Carolina loses, because it has all the makings of the classic "trap game"

1. Carolina is coming off the emotional high of last week's road win against what many saw as the last best chance for someone to disrupt their perfect regular season

2. No one is taking Atlanta seriously because they haven't played well in over 2 months AND Carolina just held them scoreless 2 weeks ago

3. The game is on the road

4. The game is in the division

5. Atlanta does have the proverbial "puncher's chance" with Julio Jones and Devonta Freeman (and a QB who we know isn't really this bad...I think, right?)

Anyone else seeing what I'm seeing?

I expect the opposite. Carolina goes into the 4th quarter with a 3 TD lead...... and may even rest Cam in the 4th.

Agreed. Perfect trap game.

I've got ATL in our Pick'em Pool... divisional games can be weird. My feeling is that CAR wants badly to stay undefeated. But ruining the perfect season for a division rival is something that ATL would love to claim as well.

YES. Obviously this is the game the panthers lose. No team is gonna go undefeated and if they do go 16-0 they will not win sb. ATL should win this game.

Maybe, I dont know, It could happen, yes, but no. I dont know, I dont think so, but it could happen, but when I really think about it, I dont know, I dont think so but maybe

I don't think Carolina will take their foot off the petal like they did against the Giants.

I don't think Norman will have a letdown when now he is matched up against Julio Jones.

Side note - amazing how Atlanta generates yards and not points. Crazy.

Might happen

Good call and big brass ones to come on here and put yourself out there like that. I'd be even more impressed if someone called out the Pitt loss because that one defies all logic.
