Yet another 1st rd mock that will assuredly be wrong (1 Viewer)

Here is my official 1st round mock, I've included some notes below as well.   Feel free to tell me where I'm wrong.
1. Jared Goff - Los Angeles Rams (from Tennessee Titans)2. Carson Wentz - Philadelphia Eagles (from Cleveland Browns)3. Ronnie Stanley - San Diego Chargers4. Jalen Ramsey - Dallas Cowboys5. Myles Jack - Jacksonville Jaguars6. Laremy Tunsil - Baltimore Ravens7. Joey Bosa - San Francisco 49ers8. Ezekiel Elliott - Miami Dolphins (from Cleveland Browns via Philadelphia Eagles through Miami Dolphins)9. Vernon Hargraeves III - Tampa Bay Buccaneers10. Laquon Treadwell - New York Giants11. Leonard Floyd - Chicago Bears12. Deforest Buckner - New Orleans Saints13. Paxton Lynch - New York Jets (from Cleveland Browns via Miami through Philadelphia Eagles)14. Eli Apple - Oakland Raiders15. Jack Conklin -Tennessee Titans (from Los Angeles Rams)16. Sheldon Rankins - Detroit Lions17. Shaq Lawson - Atlanta Falcons18. Taylor Decker - Indianapolis Colts19. Jarran Reed - Buffalo Bills20. Corey Coleman - Cleveland Browns (from New York Jets)21. Josh Doctson - Minnesota Vikings (from Washington Redskins)22. Will Fuller - Houston Texans23. Andrew Billings - Washington Redskins (from Minnesota Vikings)24. Noah Spence - Cincinnati Bengals25. Karl Joseph - Pittsburgh Steelers26. Chris Jones - Seattle Seahawks27. Connor Cook - Cleveland Browns (from Green Bay Packers)28. William Jackson III - Kansas City Chiefs29. New England Patriots (Forfeited)29. Ryan Kelly - Arizona Cardinals30. Emmanuel Ogbah - Carolina Panthers31. Reggie Ragland - Denver BroncosThe top four picks are pretty set in stone IMO, with only possibility of a Stanley/Tunsil swap..  The next 3 I'm pretty confident in being some combination of Jack/Tunsil/Bosa.  I just don't see the Browns analytics based FO picking a RB in round 1 and shopping that pick if EE is there.

My biggest surprise of the 1st round is the NYG selecting Treadwell, he's been a popular "faller" but in reality the combine/workouts will not have the effect as it does with the draft community and I think his fall has been more about some of the late breaking momentum of the other WRs than any real change in his evaluation.

In all, I am predicting four trades- Miami moving up to get Ezekiel Elliott, Jets moving up to get Paxton Lynch and Vikings leapfrogging Texans to get Doctson. Browns trade down a few times and use the extra picks to pickup an extra 1st and draft Cook.  If the Giants selecting Treadwell I think it could set of a feeding (trade) frenzy for the WRs with Fuller clearly benefiting the most.

What was the price of the trade for the Vikings to move up to pick 21?

I could see them possibly doing this.

I doubt Miami trades up for Elliot.

Good thread title.

Yeah it doesn't make sense for Miami to trade back up, but I really feel like Browns will want to move back and I believe there is serious interest from NYG/CHI & MIA and if I'm forgetting about MIA's prior trade they make the most sense.

As far as Vikings, I'm not exactly sure the going rate for the move up but if two of the top 3 WRs are gone before Texans pick (or earlier) I think they do what they have to do to get a WR.

I just looked it up and the price may be a fourth round pick to move two spots. So that isn't bad.

4th round picks are still valuable though. Maybe Rick could get them to agree to some package including 5th and 6th rounders for the move or something and it wouldn't be bad.

The way I look at is if it's Rick Spielman vs Rick Smith for Doctson (in this scenario), I think Spielman gets the deal done.   I definitely feel like one of them is going to get shut out or reach (Hou getting Fuller)

Better than a lot of "experts."
I think it's weak that a lot of them just put out mocks without any trades, I love that the SP mock has a lot of realistic trades.. It's not like it makes the mock on the whole any less accurate than going in without knowing that there will be movement.   Even if the trades do not formulate you definitely get a far better sense of the key picks (such as Browns @ 8) and the separate chains of iterations from them.

And you seem to be more in tune with what the people here (educated fans) are saying about their team.  Not the 97th edition of plagiarized mock draft from February.

I've inexplicably seen this in a few mock drafts, but Apple to the Raiders? Just can't see happening -- Apple isn't a 14th overall pick, and can't imagine the Raiders would have him rated higher than a lot of the guys who they passed up on (including other DBs) in your mock.

Darron Lee was born to be drafted by Atlanta at 17.  They couldn't have dreamed of a better fit for what their defense is lacking.  Floyd might be drafted higher, but Lee is the better player.

All of the Treadwell "hate" has gotten out of control.  That said, I hope the Giants don't draft him.  Obviously, that would make him a #2 receiver.
