You got to give it up to Joe Bryant (1 Viewer)

The big draw is the large amount of cheese that melts down the crust side and also forms its own crust wall above the pizza.

People always talk about wanted the "corner piece" to get more of the crusty cheese.

Lotsa dough though.
Yes. I'm not sure how many other places do it but my friends at Via 313 have a thin crust round pizza they offer too. That way people have a choice as thicker crust isn't for everyone.

If its greasy like pan, no good. Especially if heavy on garlic. Just my opinion of course.

Are you driving?  Why not stop in the Dayton area for the Marion's Pizza experience.

I really miss this pizza - can't get anything close to it where I live.
That looks similar to Donatos style crust (not a statement on quality, because I have never had it).  I like the taste of thin crust pizza, but it never fills me up.  I can eat two pies.

New Haven. I know Joe is going nowhere near New Haven, but there deserves to be a mention of New Haven whenever pizza is brought it.

You should dig it next year, Ded.  Modern, Sally's, Pepe's. Oh, man, I'm on a diet and now hungry.
I have watched a number of shows on food network, etc. on Sally's and Pepe's and several other places.  Those sport peppers look like a great addition too.

ETA:  what pizza place is owned by a former NHL player?  Looks pretty small, had wood seating booths (saw that one some time ago ...it had the sport peppers on it).

So I'll be taking the family, all 7 of us, to the northern burbs in early July. Trying to find a good hotel, inexpensive, with an indoor pool, that won't make us feel like we're living in filth.

Near Warren.

Any suggestions?
