Your ALL-31 & Over Team (1 Viewer)

If you were starting a team with players 31 and over what would it look like? Here's mine.

Just because I was a little bored this morning...

My Age Reference Site...

QB - Peyton Manning- he's 32 and coming off an MVP season.

RB - Ricky Williams- he's 31 and really doesn't have a lot of mileage. I could see squeezing out a season or 2 with him.

RB - Kevin Faulk- he would do everything Williams didn't do. Nice change of pace - excellent 3rd down down back.

WR - Randy Moss- Manning to Moss is sweet music to my ears.

WR - Torry Holt- I'd let Holt work underneath as Moss stretched the field.

WR - Hines Ward- Ward does it all. He'll block for the running game and keep defenses honest.

TE - Tony Gonzalez- 32 and still probably the best at his position.

Would your teams look much different than mine?

To each their own, but how do you NOT put Terrell Owens on this team?From a pure skill set point, I think Fred Taylor was amongst the best in the NFL at a point in time. Lost a step or not, I'd have to have him on a team like this.

I almost answered this question in my original post because I knew it would come. My personal concept was "team." Owens is not someone who I think plays well with others. So he got left off.

RBs will be the most difficult, but I'll go with "at the start of the season" - Edge/KFaulk. I'll take TO, Moss and Ward. This team isn't built for the long haul and TO's negative influence is negated by the presence of solid veterans.

PK - Jason Elam

P - Shane Lechler

DL - John Abraham, Pat Kerney, Pat Williams, Jamal Williams

LB - Urlacher, Joey Porter, Ray Lewis (I know, 2 MLBs, I trust Urlacher could play outside if needed)

CB - Charles Woodson, Champ Bailey

S - Ed Reed, Rodney Harrison

I'll leave OL to someone else.

I thought about Dawkins, wasn't sure. How about I take Antoine Winfield as my Corner and Charles Woodson as my other S? I'm not sure I like the combo of Reed/Woodson as S, usually I want a hard hitting SS. But if Winfield is my corner, I might be ok.
