Does anyone know how this is going to affect the hockey team? I thought I remembered reading something from a few years back when they were debating the name change. I think the hockey team's funding and arena is tied to an alumni gift that gave it specifically to the Fighting Sioux. Something about if they changed their name, they wouldn't be able to access those funds or facilities. Anyone hear anything about this?

Jerseys just say North Dakota. Englestad has been going thru some changes to remove some of the Sioux stuff but they can't remove all of it. But I think they have done enough in NCAA eyes. As for Nazi Ralph - he's dead and I don't think the endowments are being rescinded
