1. Brett Favre being booed arguably for the 1st time in his career.

2. NE vs. NYJ in week 2. This is starting to get good.

3. Week 3 when Martz and the 49ers face off vs. Detroit

4. Week 13 when J. Jones gets to face Dallas. If he has the starting job by then, should be interesting.

Just a few to get started.......

J Jones v. Dallas seems like a pretty weak moment to look forward to considering how great the entire NFL season is.

I'm going with "tonight" when we get our first preseason game.

When Rex Grossman hoists the Lombardi...

sorry, I can't even finish this sentence

Honestly I am just looking forward to watching the Packers finish below the lowly Bears in the NFC north and hearing ESPN rail on them all year.

Looking forward to the Packers making the playoffs and making it to the NFC championship game to shut up all the Favre lovers. I would like to note that I hate the packers but I hate all the Favre lovers more so I would love to see this happen.

That when the actual season starts ESPN might actually talk about something other than Favre when they do a piece on the NFL.

1- my first sunday with the ticket...getting to watch every patriot game, watch/dvr every browns/packer/bears and steelers games..... and NEVER HAVE TO watch the lions !

2- patriots winning the super bowl

3- patriots beating indy and san diego in the playoffs

Being such a Patriots fan I thought you would have found a way to intercept the Sunday Ticket signal years ago...

How are you going to accomplish watching all Packer and Bears games and yet not watch the Lions?

1. Doesn't seem like a moment to savor. Favre has been good for the NFL. 2. Starting to get good? That will happen when the Jets start to get good. Hasn't happened yet.

3. Martz and the 49ers v. Det.? Seriously?

4. J. Jones was never "all that" in Dallas. Heck, he hasn't been their best RB in a couple of years. It's not like Edge v. Colts, E. Smith v. 'Boys, J. Lewis v. Ravens. At least those guys played at the elite level.

I'm interested in seeing Shockey in N.O., J. Russell in Oak, and how M. Ryan performs in ATL.

Week 2 - Sept. 15, Monday night, Philly at Dallas. Any Monday night game with these two teams, either stadium, is just going to be great.

Week 17 - Dec. 28, Sunday afternoon, Dallas at Philly. Christmas in Philly....AWESOME!! Last regular season game will have the division title, playoff seeding, and yearly bragging rights on the line for all Eagles and Cowboys fans.

These are the two games (moments) I'm looking forward to more than anything else this year. I could get nuts and throw out some crazy predictions, but why bother? These games are going to be great no matter what the outcome.

Irony at it best. Gotta love the Philly fans.....

As a Lions fan I will be mildly entertained by the suckfest of SF vs. Det. I have a sick fascination of two bad teams playing to see who wants to lose more than the other. It will come down to one of them blowing a lead by sloppy defensive play late in the 4th quarter.

Otherwise, just the magnitude of the 1st week sunday games all on at one time, while sucking down chicken wings and beer at buffalo wild wings with 11 of my good friends. All the while cheering/jeering each others fantasy teams. It's better than the superbowl!

 You're looking forward to these things? The Jets suck, who gives a #### about 2 ####ty teams like SF & Det? And who gives 2 craps about Julius Jones return to Dallas?

He does. Anything you are looking forward to?

When the media darling Browns realize they in fact are still the same old Browns. The preseason Browns hype reminds me a lot of all the Cincy hype from a couple of years back.

thursday dec. 18th

the jags host the colts. jacksonville officially ends the indy reign of terror in the afc south by clinching the division in week 16.

There are going to be A LOT of guys moving up the career charts this year

Edgerrin James needs 1,133 yards to move past #12 Thurman Thomas, #11 Franco Harris, #10 Marcus Allen, #9 Marshall Faulk, #8 Jim Brown and #7 Tony Dorsett on the all-time rushing list

LaDainian Tomlinson needs 1425 yards to pass Thomas and 1663 to pass Brown.

Fred Taylor needs 637 yards to pass #14 John Riggins (although LT should also pass Taylor this year, putting Taylor at #15)

Warrick Dunn needs 269 yards to knock Tiki Barber out of the #20 spot.

Jamal Lewis is 895 yards away from 10,000.

LT needs 9 rushin TDs to pass Marcus Allen for 2nd all-time...

Marvin Harrison needs 60 catches to pass #4 Cris Carter and #3 Tim Brown for 2nd place all-time

Isaac Bruce needs 10 catches to move past Andre Reed for 5th place

TO needs 70 catches to pass Reed (he would then be in 6th place behind Bruce, with Reed in 7th)

Tony Gonzalez needs 43 catches to move past Jimmy Smith for 10th place

Torry Holt needs 58 catches to pass Smith

Randy Moss needs 89 catches to pass Smith.

Isaac Bruce needs 825 receiving yards to pass Tim Brown for 2nd place

Marvin Harrison needs 991 yards to pass Brown. He also starts the year only 165 yards behind Bruce

TO needs 935 yards to pass James Lofton for 5th place all-time (assuming Harrison passes Lofton as well)

Moss needs 1006 yards to pass Andre Reed for 9th place (assuming TO passes Reed as well)

Torry Holt needs 922 yards to pass Irving Fryar for 12th place (assuming Moss passes Fryar as well)

TO (129), Moss (124) and Harrison (123) are all in position to pass Cris Carter (130) for 2nd place on the receiving TD list

Bruce needs 4 TDs to pass Andre Reed for 10th place all-time

Joey Galloway (needs 3 TD) and Torry Holt (needs 9 TD) should move into 19th and 20th place.

Looking forward to:

Any NFC East or AFC South divisional game--NFL at its best.

The 'Boys finally winning a playoff game.

Not looking forward to:

Julius Jones vs DAL?!? If Julius torched us for 400 yards and 7 scores, I still wouldn't give a poo.

Wade Philips losing yet another playoff game.

1. T.O. crying

2. Jessica jumping

3. Cowboy playoff implosion

Oh,I'm sorry,THIS year.

USC vs. Ohio State

Trojans will roll. The next generation of USC greats will "blow up" nationally.

Off topic, but are they just going to keep handing Ohio State top rankings until they can actually win a championship game? Oh wait, it's Ohio State, of course they are, just like the NCAA will keep looking the other way when they and USC pay players.

You don't think that returning 19 starters from last year has anything to do with the high ranking. When "hate" makes you say dumb things you should just avoid the temptation to hit reply.

 and OSU will produce more NFL draft picks and better overall talent than USC.
