I think President Obama has been for the most part excellent at foreign policy. If anyone wishes to dispute this, I am open to debate.

I think foreign policy has generally been fine.

Domestically, I think this administration has been a train wreck. The economy has been generally stagnant, despite mortgaging the country's future on the credit card (admittedly, that credit card has propped up the markets). The expansion of the imperial executive branch has been revolting. The incompetence on Obamacare has been downright shocking. Granted, those first two complaints are simply continuations of the previous trend, but I don't buy the "they did it too" defense.

Don't disagree with too much of this, especially about Obamacare.

Obama will go down as one of the most "meh" Presidents in history.
I tend to agree, but his Presidency is really going to come down to the long-term outcome of Obamacare.

It's a burn if you believe every desperate attempt to create a scandal was real, true, and important.

I think any president under such a barrage of bull#### would respond in a similar way. Hard to pick out what is an excuse or a lie. Unless of course you assume he's been lying since 2008, which most haters seem to believe. They never trusted him from day 1.

I swear, half the stuff Obama does reads like it's newspeak from 1984. A total disconnect between message and reality.

http://www.businessweek.com/news/2014-01-04/obama-calls-on-congress-to-restore-expired-unemployment-benefits

President Barack Obama urged Congress to make the restoration of unemployment benefits a priority as both he and lawmakers return to work after a holiday break.

The renewal of the “vital economic lifeline” provided by the aid should be lawmakers’ “first order of business” next week, Obama said in his weekly radio and Internet address today.

“Republicans in Congress went home for the holidays and let that lifeline expire,” the president said, referring to the program that provided supplemental payments to long-term unemployed workers. “And for many of their constituents who are unemployed through no fault of their own, that decision will leave them with no income at all.”

...

Obama has been vacationing in his native Hawaii with his family. They are scheduled to fly back to Washington tonight.
It's the Republicans' fault! They went home for the holidays and left you behind, said while on vacation in his native home state, Hawaii, where he's been the last two weeks.

So the VA turns out to be one of the most disturbing stories in years to both parties...

...and what does he do?

Why he makes a star studded surprise appearance with Paisley and the troops appear as a backdrop.

Amazing.
And this wrong why?

Sorry, I guess that came out wrong. I appreciate our president appreciating the troops. Just an incredible juxtaposition and timing (of course Memorial Day is when it is, but it couldn't come at a better time and it's not like he surprises them every year just at this time).

:goodposting: Obama really needs to make sure someone proofreads those lists that he types!
The CIA’s top officer in Kabul was exposed Saturday by the White House when his name was inadvertently included on a list provided to news organizations of senior U.S. officials participating in President Obama’s surprise visit with U.S. troops.

The White House recognized the mistake and quickly issued a revised list that did not include the individual, who had been identified on the initial release as the “Chief of Station” in Kabul, a designation used by the CIA for its highest-ranking spy in a country.

...
The identities of at least three CIA station chiefs in Pakistan have been exposed in recent years. In one case, a CIA officer became a target of death threats after his cover was blown, forcing the agency to rush him out of the country.
Didn't Scooter Libby, the Clinton/Rich go-between & Cheney's, Bob Novak's & Richard Armitage's contact during the Bush administration, go to jail for outing a desk jockey in DC? What's the penalty for this?

Difference between a clerical error and intentional political outing.

Thats why not all of them had any hoopla surrounding them.

Fair enough I'll buy that.

Amazing.
You're embarrassing yourself here.
Yeah, I know, I feel bad about this one. Apologies to all on Memorial Day.
