Your waiver adds for the upcoming week 9 (1 Viewer)

Had a good game but guessing Hyde and/or Carson will be back next week. He’d be a sell high for me I think if another team was interested in him.

I’ve had and dropped Wilkins numerous times since I have Taylor in 2 leagues. Now hoping I can get him once again this week after his breakout. I think it won’t continue as I feel Taylor is the better player but after this week I definitely need to lock him up as a handcuff. Have my fingers crossed I get him.

Someone in need of a qb might want to grab mullens if he’s still available.  Also maybe D’onte if you have Henry. Maybe Marvin Hall if Golladay is out for an extended time. Also DaeSean Hamilton put up a nice game with Patrick out and Anthony Miller looked ok once again.

What do we really think his ceiling is though?  Or do you see something in his game showing you promise?
His ceiling is rookie deebo Samuel imo.  Guy is a baller, just not getting good opportunities.

Deejay Dallas by default?
Grabbed him this morning/afternoon 30 Min prior to 1:00 games and feel lucky, that said you can't think a TD dependent performance like that where he did very little IMHO and he will be riding the bench quickly.

I will be trying to move him on Tue Morn fast, would you play that any differently?

Laviska Shenault, coming off the bye and a poor week. I bet he was dropped in plenty of leagues.
Yes he was, i did it 2-3x with him this season. I like his potential and future but JAX cannot support 2-3 flourishing WRs so it ebbs and flows a lot.

Agree with Goldie, on a good team like say Pittsburgh, this guy would be doing a lot of things we see another Rookie doing there. He's a lot bigger than folks think, could have DK Metcalf upside long term or some weeks but we'll never know fully in Jacksonville.

I think he's very talented, maybe the Jags most talented offensive player, and they likely come out of the bye, especially with a new QB, looking to get more touches to the guy who is already one of the leagues best RAC guys.

The ceiling is probably limited as the Jags offense isn't great. However, that also means they are almost always chasing, so he could be a garbage time star going forward, although that hasn't been the case so far. Perhaps that is a Minshew thing?

Also, I wouldn't 100% rule out the chances that DJ Chark gets traded this week. Not saying it'll happen, but I imagine the Jags would listen to offers, as he's been unhappy, and only has 1 more year left on his deal.

1 of the draft profiles I read this year, called Shenault, "Saquon Barkley if he played WR." I kinda rolled my eyes a little at the time(especially as I loved the Deebo comp) but I actually kind of see it. The route running needs work(it'd be elite as a RB though) but every tackle is a struggle, and he's so much quicker than his 40 time, maybe not Barkley speed, but high 4.55-4.6 was clearly a bad day.

He ran his 40 at the combine injured with like a bruised taint or something.

Who is Troymaine Pope? Why did he get 15 touches for the Chargers? Rare, weird game flow, or is there something here?

no interest in any of the positional players trending this week, not a great WW

however, have to cover the Rams bye

  1. WFT - nobody wants to depend on anyone from this franchise outside of Gibson, but they looked great Week 1 and before the bye, playing a very generous QB
  2. NYG - they have a little pass rush, generate turnovers, plus matchup, s/b low over/under
  3. HOU - generally a hell no choice but Jake Luton
  4. TEN - nice matchup but do we trust this DST? I think not
  5. MIA - would be a good one to pair with another DST, bad matchup this week tho
should probably take this to the defense by committee thread

he got dinged as well, right? went out in the third or something, haven't seen the update

ETA2: big hit by A.J. Bouye, evaluated for concussion. I can't find any indication he's in the protocol though.

legit not an option on Yahoo, he's not in the database

:lmao:

CORRECTION: they added him after the Sunday games lol

Nov 2 2:23 AM Added to game with position RB

same

Considering the players they have ranked in the 2000s kind of shocking - there’s only like what 1696 players? (16 x 53) and how many players to cover every QB/WR/RB/TE/K? Maybe 6-700?

One note on TEN from a disgruntled Bears fan.  The Bears' already bad offensive line is running low on humans.  RT Bobby Massie was moved to IR, back-up RT Jason Spriggs has COVID, RG Germain Ifedi is, as of now, a high-risk close contact with Spriggs and will have to successfully test his way to be eligible to play.  Starting C Cody Whitehair is questionable, and backup C Sam Mustipher may miss the game with injury.

The Bears may have two practice squad players, including one signed just this week, starting on Sunday.

plus the QB doesn't seem to understand they can win with just their defense if he does no harm

I'm not sure the head coach gets it, either.  They are an infuriating team to watch week in and week out.

As a blogger I follow wrote, the Bears are currently the odds-on favorite to win the 1987 Super Bowl.

In the same position. Have the Bears but don’t trust them this weeks so dropped the Rams because of looking at their upcoming schedule and debating about the Dolphins, WFT, or Giants to play this week over the Bears

Dynasty ... Thoughts on DeAndre Washington going to Miami with Gaskin out 3 weeks?  Is he worth a flier or should I grab Malcolm Brown who was dropped.  I also own Akers as my RB6

He won't be able to play this week because of the Covid rule. So that leave Breida for more carries.

Scrambling in one dynasty league with the Aaron Jones uncertainty, and whether to put in a bid on Tyler Ervin or Dexter Williams. Also need to cover the Rams DST bye, and missing both Mayfield and Minshew (superflex) at QB2.  And activating Antonio Brown.

Only a couple easy drops on my roster so it's a bad week to try and address 4 different things.

I've been holding a high WW priority for the last month or so and finally got to #1 this week. I was going to just hold it, but after Gaskin (who I was likely to start as my flex quite a bit going forward) went down, I decided to spend it on Breida.  The WW is pretty bare in my league and most decent RB handcuffs are already rostered, so I thought it was worth it. I'm 6-2 (after losing this week despite being the 2nd highest scoring team) so I'm really not trying to hit home runs. Just needed solid production for a few weeks to ensure I make the playoffs.

Also picked up Hardman.  I have Mahomes, so its a decent "swing for the fences" play if i need it. I was LOVING my WR core a few weeks ago (despite losing Sutton, i still had a solid group with Woods, Justin Jefferson and Lamb with Cooks and Jeudy on the bench) but with what has happened in Dallas, Lamb has gone from top 15-20 option to basically unstartable. So we had to go for SOMEONE.

Hopefully Hardman can have some big games.

Same.  Fortunately I'm 8-0, so I'll likely roll without a defense (and possibly without a kicker) and take my chances rather than make an ill-advised drop.

Not so lucky here. I'm leaning toward just avoiding the GB RB situation and if Jones can't go, I'll flex a WR or TE instead.
