Yucky Week 10 QB Decision (1 Viewer)

I'm in a start 2 QB league and Dak is on bye. My options are...
1) Geno vs Broncos in DEN: Ick! REALLY good defense and Geno has been bad, although Bowers healthy helps.
2) Shough vs Panthers in CAR: Yuck! Panthers' D has been underrated, Shough is not good and lost Shaheed. but pass volume?
3) Gabriel vs Jets in NJ: UGH! Gabriel not great either but Jets really bad after trades today?

I can't decide so I'm going to my fantasy brethren.

I would have held my nose and picked Smith
But after the trades I might take a chance on Gabriel against the new and less talented Jets defense
It's close

Oh, forgot to add context that you get .5pts per completion.

So I'd SLIGHTLY lean Gabriel because, outside of that really bad weather game against Miami, he's attempted 30+ passes a game and, as you said, the Jets' defense (which wasn't great to begin with) is less talented now. And maybe he gets more opportunity if the Jets can't move the ball against the Browns' defense. It is forecasted to have some rain though. But it's a really tough decision even though it really is coming down to Gabriel vs Geno.

Ok, sorry for rehashing this. But, those siding towards Gabriel, any concern about the weather?

Davis Mills vs that bad Jags defense looks more enticing now.
I mean Geno just torched them. I'm not looking for a huge upside, just someone who just won't lose me my week from my QB2 spot.

Lol, I was able to trade a 5th round rookie pick ( I had 2) for Mac Jones. I just wanted to take the decision out of my hands all together.

But now I'm running into the same issue looking ahead for week 14 when Drake Maye is on bye and Geno is again against the Broncos with Mac Jones also on a bye as well.

Thinking of dropping Geno for Shough who is at the Bucs that week. I've seen the crappy play of Geno both for the season and against the Broncos. I'm thinking Shough could fair a little better against TB. MAYBE he gets a little bump after the bye too? Geno's schedule, after this week against Dallas, is pretty brutal as well (CLE, LAC, DEN, PHI, HOU). He's hurt and could get replaced by Pickett any moment with the way he's played. At least Kellen Moore has already said the plan is for Shough to start the rest of the season.
