It was learned on Superbowl Media Day that despite being a native New Englander RANDALL MAGNUM grew up a huge Seahawk fan. Also, although he is a noted liberal, he idolized Steve Largent.In his backyard dreams he led the Seahawks to the SUPERBOWL, and now he's FACING them in the real thing! What a storybook ending to his spectacular first season under center!

The SUPER BOWL will be the FINAL GAME in the careers of the Raiders backfield combo of HB CHARLIE GARNER and FB ZACK CROCKETT. FS RONNIE BRADFORD also retires after the game, and DANA STUBBLEFIELD starts his final game as a Raider.

 
The 14-2 SEAHAWKS have the NFL's best record but they will be WITHOUT MATT HASSELBECK for the big game. TRENT DILFER starts.

RAIDERS first possession falters under a ferocious Seahawks pass rush, MAGNUM manages to guide them into FG range however, and JANIKOWSKI nails a 53 yarder.7-3 SEATTLE lead.

 
UN-BELIEVABLE play from RANDALL MAGNUM! He throws off a Seahawk defensive lineman, steps forward and fires an inch-perfect over the middle to the open receiver.

WESTBROOK - in for the winded GARNER - has a superb high-stepping knee-pounding run up the middle for 34 yards!
