SEAHAWKS' talented young WR FISH scores on a 12 yard TD reception, it's 14-13 SEAHAWKS.CLOSE ONE in the MOTOR CITY!

MAGNUM drags the RAIDERS into FG range and JANIKOWSKI nails it from 46 yards out, it's 16-14 RAIDERS at the half.

HALF TIME in the SUPER BOWL and we have a real close game, the young upstart 10-6 RAIDERS with sensational 2nd year QB RANDALL MAGNUM at the helm seeking to overcome the favored 14-2 SEAHAWKS.

2nd half underway and backup HB BRIAN WESTBROOK has just made another great run, this one in the red zone! WESTBROOK's seeing a lot of action with elderly CHARLIE GARNER feeling the strain!

CHARLIE GARNER scoots in from 9 yards out! TOUCHDOWN for the veteran RB playing in his final game!23-14 RAIDERS!

But the Raiders go for 2 and fail! It's 29-14 RAIDERS in the SUPER BOWL and the OAKLAND fans are beginning to sense victory!! Could the SILVER and BLACK be finally BACK?

BRIAN WESTBROOK 3 yard TD RUN!GARNER had pounded it down there but headed for the bench for a breather and WESTBROOK surged over!!It's 36-14 now and SURELY the OAKLAND RAIDERS are about to win THEIR FIRST SUEPR BOWL under RANDALL MAGNUM!

OUTSIDE CONTAIN INTERCEPTS DILFER!The unbelievably fast LB RACES DOWN THE SIDELINES!But he is CAUGHT at the 7 by SHAUN ALEXANDER!!!

CHARLIE GARNER stumbles into the end zone for a 3 yard TD RUN!What a way to bow out for old man GARNER who retires after this game! His 2nd RUSHING TD of the SUPER BOWL!

RANDALL MAGNUM finishes 25-36 for 300 yards, a TD, and a rushing score. What a gun-slinger he is - and he's only going to get better! He wins the SUPER BOWL at his first attempt!

PORTER finishes 6-129, while D-JAX catches 10-99.With MAGNUM slinging it to these two and TEYO JOHNSON, the future is truly bright for the OAKLAND RAIDERS!

And my favorite stat of the night - ZACK CROCKETT, playing in his final game, records a stunning FIVE pancakes, which is HUGE for a FB!

Congrats goes out to Randall and the rest of the Raider Nation! It will be interesting to see if Randall gets a little too cocky after all his early success.

RETIREMENTS:Charlie GarnerRonnie BradfordZack CrockettBoth starting backs for the Raiders retire in glory, having tasted Super Bowl victory. Fortunately there are super young replacements waiting in the wings in BRIAN WESTBROOK and B.J. ASKEW whom we picked up in FA last year.BRADFORD's retirement isn't a major problem - he was a journeyman figure anyway - but it does leave a hole at FS. We will have to fill it through the draft or FA.

RE-SIGNED:Jerry Porter (45/7)Derrick Gibson (16/7)Sam Williams (17.5/7)Justin Fargas (2/2)JERRY PORTER keys the Raiders' deep passing game and had to be resigned to massive contract.DERRICK GIBSON has quietly matured to the point where he is a steady starter, if not an elite one. It would be nice to get a SS with more speed at some point in the future, but for the moment we have more pressing needs.Similarly SAM WILLIAMS has matured at DE to the point where he is a useful starter, a pass-rush guy with real speed. Ideally we would draft a monster DE in the 1st round and replace him, but we may not have that luxury.FARGAS is brought back to backup WESTBROOK for a couple of years.

NOT RESIGNED:Michael JamesonBarry SimsTony BryantDana StubblefieldSiddeeq ShabazzDoug GabrielScrubs with the exception of BARRY SIMS, who lost his starting job to JONATHAN OGDEN, and DANA STUBBLEFIELD, who has lost his starting job to sensational 2nd year DT LOVE MUSCLE.

OFF-SEASON NEEDS:1) FS - we have no-one to play FS for us and desperately need a replacement.2) DE - KENYON COLEMAN and SAM WILLIAMS are OK young DEs but I can't see either becoming a superstar.3) SS - DERRICK GIBSON is OK but lacks real speed. But the rest of the team looks in great shape. RANDALL MAGNUM is simply an extraordinary talent at QB, greater even than BRAD SMITH. The offensive line is mighty, as befits one anchored by JONATHAN OGDEN and KEVIN MAWAE. PORTER and D-JAX are a superb WR duo and TEYO is a weapon at TE. BRIAN WESTBROOK should be great at HB and I really like the talent of young B.J. ASKEW at FB. We are a little weak at DE but superb at DT with ROD COLEMAN and the explosive young LOVE MUSCLE. At LB vets NAPOLEON HARRIS and ERIC BARTON are members of the elite, while OUTSIDE CONTAIN has speed to burn. CB is filled with brilliant young talent in CHARLES WOODSON and PHILLIP BUCHANON, although both S positions require upgrades. Our special teams are beyond peer with SEBASTIAN JANIKOWSKI and SHANE LECHLER anchoring the kicking duties.

DRAFT:An INCREDIBLE talent is still on the board when we pick at the end of the 1st round, a FREAK OF NATURE!A FS with UNBELIEVABLE speed! We simply HAVE to draft him!

The FS is drafted, by the time we are back on the board in the 2nd round there's very little talent left, so we just draft backups the rest of the way.

The BIG question is WHAT are we going to call the FS?WHO WANTS TO BE THE NEW FS FOR THE OAKLAND RAIDERS?Who wants to join RANDALL MAGNUM, OUTSIDE CONTAIN and LOVE MUSCLE on the team? All nominations from the FFA will be considered!

We sign the FS to a $6.5m/7 year contract. He has SPEED 97! This is UNBELIEVABLE! Normally safeties don't go over speed 90, but the game throws in a very occasional - once in a lifetime - freak of nature and gives us a FS with SPEED TO BURN!

FREE AGENCY has arrived! Unfortunately there was no stud DE or SS available, but the Raiders did manage to sign CB AL HARRIS (86 overall) who will be a fine 3rd CB.Other signings - WR COREY BRADFORD (76 overall) comes aboard on a short 2 year, $5.6m deal, he'll be our #3 WR.And FS JEROME WOODS (76 overall) is signed to a single year $1.25m deal. He'll show rookie FS SILVERBACK SURFER the ropes!

RE-NEGOTIATED:We buy veteran CB TERRY FAIR out of his long contract by signing him to an expensive single year $2.5m deal. With CHARLES WOODSON, PHILLIP BUCHANON, AL HARRIS, CHRIS CASH and NNAMDI ASOMUGHA at CB we really don't have any further need for FAIR beyond this season.

PRE-SEASON:Randall Magnum +1 to 90Love Muscle +2 to 85Outside Contain +1 to 83Silverback Surfer +2 to 72RANDALL MAGNUM is now a stellar 90 overall - up from 83 overall in the Super Bowl season last year. WATCH OUT, rest of the league!LOVE MUSCLE is already a solid starter at 85 overall, as is OUTSIDE CONTAIN at 83 overall. Both should continue their ascend upwards to become SUPERSTARS.And young SILVERBACK SURFER makes his first advance, up to 72. He'll get a lot of playing time in his rookie year to make sure he goes up for next season.
