3rd one was strange, but with a 10 point must would have to go Stipe. Gave first 2 to Stipe with that 2nd being a possible 10-8 (Judges will never do it, but it should be)

i really hope Stipe isn't giving this fight away. letting DC hang in the fight and not doing much the last 2 rounds

With UFC judging, Stipe might need the 5th. We've seen some really crazy scoring over the years

yeah Stipe played with fire this one. not sure why, i'm guessing his corner was telling him he had this. But he definitely could have done more in those 3rd and 4th rounds to easily cement this fight.

Will be weird how they score these though, Stipe had much better strikes overall, but DC's power combined with Stipe's hair made a lot of those shots look rough

Now please go away for good, DC. One of the all time greats but its time.

the PR machine on this has driven me crazy. If you look at his actual resume of fights, it really shouldn't be considered on the same tier as a GSP, Silva, etc. His 205 run was a nice fight with Gus, but outside of that nothing really great.

and he started his career as a hot prospect with a great run in Strikeforce and some impressive wins. but he never really had any great moments.

Very good fight.   Stipe clearly the victor.   Terrible eye poke but he was losing before the poke and I don't see it making the difference.   Two of the best that are all class.

Agree.  The eye poke wasn't the deciding factor.  Stipe dominated after round 1 and even with two good eyes DC wasn't gonna change that.

DC never should have left the HWY division to let Cane do whatever he was going to do. SHould have stayed at HWY if he wanted and then we could have seen what his career would have held. I would say DC had a good fight with Gus, and looked good in his one fight with Jones, but outside of that i don't think he has done much of anything since 2013. UFC really kind of padded his record and gave him the match-ups to help him out.

*My bad, that first fight against Stipe that he won was certainly a great win for him. i'll give him that

Stipe has THE iron chin.

If he didn't get perfectly clipped while running into that DC one, we would likely be looking at 10* title defenses in a row.

*My guesstimate without looking it up.

Another thing about DC....really disliked how he stormed out of the ring post decision. I get he wanted to win, hold the gold, talk about himself post fight, and ride off into the sunset. But he got his ### beat down. Those are the types of things I’ll remember about him. Then you got all class Stipe only saying great things about DC to Rogan.

Guilty pleasure addition to the MMA thread.

The Fight Circus card is funny and entertaining. Crude production to be sure. Cheesy announcing and commentary. Little people escorts to the ring. Silly stupid stuff.

Girl vs Girl bare knuckle

Male no belt vs Female blue belt

2 120lb Buddies vs a Pro 170lb. round 1 is boxing, round 2 is muay thai, round 3 is MMA

BW Muay Thai vs HW Boxer

Karate vs Muay Thai - kicks only

Male vs Male bare knuckle

2 Brothers (figher and b-boy dancer - 115lb) vs 185lb Pro

Super Heavy Weight vs Middleweight

Missed this post.

Assume this event already happened? I'm always open to watching a freak show.

Yup. Google or use fightcircus.com - again, not safe for little ones, work, or some households since camsoda hosted the webspace.

Tonight's the night! Pretty excited for this card. Better than many PPV cards IMO

Agreed, this is a great non-PPV card.

Colby Covington vs. Tyron Woodley - Bully beatdown. Hope that Woodley rage engages but Colby stops him by TKO in the 4th. Colby even thinks of easing up in the 4th to dish out more punishment in the 5th!

Donald Cerrone  vs. Niko Price - Going with youth on this one. All 30-27 decisions.

Khamzat Chimaev vs. Gerald Meerschaert. Chimaev time. 3rd round stoppage.

Johnny Walker vs. Ryan Spann - Walker gets back on track with 2nd round KO.

Mackenzie Dern vs. Randa Markos - Dern takes this with a decision as Markos is tough and stays in the fight.

Kevin Holland vs. Darren Stewart - Holland in decision.

Has there been a fighter that's been as boring after being a champion as Woodley?

I know some will disagree based off his name, but UFC would be out nothing cutting the guy. It's been many fights of nothing now. Just looks like his desire to fight is gone. And not a kid anymore at 38. Go be an analyst or something. Rapper, whatever.

It is 3 straight ULTRA boring fights too.  He doesn't seem to want to engage at all.

If a new MMA fan just started watching the last couple of years it would be impossible to convince them that this guy was a multi time defending champion.

pre-TUF day, hell yeah. when wrestlers were dominating UFCs in UFC 30's-UFC 60''s (or whatever time frame), there were tons of lay and pray without any stand up.

but yeah, i don't know anyone who would miss Woodley when he goes away
