If you have a business where you sell a $300-400 product with a 25% take and someone offers you a line of products you can carry that are 1500-4000 products but you only get 12.5%.... it's still a great deal. Instead of making 75-100 bucks from his girls, he's not clearing 175-500 bucks from Jax's girls. Not to mention he's already made it clear that he likes having "protection" in the form of gang alliances.

I'm no expert in the poon biz, but is a 500% markup realistic?If I could pay $300 for the Disney girl, I'm not sure I'd pay $1500 for a porn star (caveat, of course, is that I doubt there are many $300 hookers as hot as the Disney girl).

I do remember, in college, that I did see Jasmine St. Clair headlining at a strip club. That was pretty awesome even though I'd just seen her record-breaking video. Then again, she didn't steal anymore money from me than any other stripper (although, I didn't go to the champagne room either).

Of course it is, you got hookers on the point and you have Ashley Dupree making boatloads. Or Tigers Loredana Jolie. As far as girls featuring, I'm sure there was a cover charge that is not normally in place, and there is a reason these girls go on the feature circuit.

And it's a short term course of action. It's just like when they first started dealing with Zobelle. Clay just wanted to go all gangsta on him while Jax realized that a more measured, thought out response was necessary. Zobelle was counting on Clay's type of retaliation and planned to use that against them. Jax isn't being a sissy here. He just wants to find out exactly what he's in for and act accordingly.

Right. And this is part of the inherent conflict that the whole show is premised on: JT had a vision of the club that was more "middle of the road" and reasonable, whereas Clay's vision was based on greed, and get rid of anyone who stands in the way of that. Get what you can now, clean up any loose ends afterwards. Guns, drugs, death, etc. So this is Jax now moving things towards JT's vision: getting into "softer" criminal enterprises, negotiating with the gangsters in the neighborhood instead of having a shootout with kids around, going along with Pope until he can figure out a way to get out from under him.So it seems a little strange that the guy acts reasonably, and he's called a "sissy." No offense, but anyone thinking this doesn't really understand the show.
 
Maybe it isn't jax acting like a sissy. The whole episode was sissified. The Mexicans pulled guns after the chase and then jax was able to talk to them and come to an agreeable solution?

Not an episode goes by where Jax doesn't talk somebody down or talk them into something. Doesn't matter who it is or what the situation. If Jax had been around on Sept 10, 2001 those 19 hijackers would have swapped their tickets and gone to Branson, MO without incident.

Not an episode goes by where Jax doesn't talk somebody down or talk them into something. Doesn't matter who it is or what the situation. If Jax had been around on Sept 10, 2001 those 19 hijackers would have swapped their tickets and gone to Branson, MO without incident.

Are you saying that Mexicans are inherently unreasonable? The other guys had guns too. Is trying to get this girl worth getting shot, or shooting someone in broad daylight in front of a dozen witnesses?

That was explained pretty well-- :moneybag: Smits' women might pull in a couple of hundred a date. Jax's women pull in 1500 for the "porn star experience." Even with a 50/50 split Smits is making a lot more money per date with Jax's women. Plus, Smits can still run his own women.

Jax didn't give him a stake in the porn business. He gave Smits access to the actresses. Smits clearly stated he didn't want into SAMCRO's business.

THe fat lawyer guy had a seat on the city council and was going to vote down charming heights. Sons worked a deal with the mayor to get access to one of his properties to house the new Escort service in exchange for fixing his voting problem. So they blackmailed lawyer dude to lock down the vote for Hale....also sorta "getting him in bed" with the sons going forward.You guys seriously request spoiler tags on #### that has already aired? Protection wasn't discussed but one could assume that Hale wouldn't want it to leak that he had rented a property to the local biker gang to use as a brothel.... so in a sense, yeah I'm guessing there is some implied "turn the other way" type protection there.

Jax says they're "Sending the bill for the bikes"Jax showed Hale the envelope to let him know he had blackmail on the final vote needed for Charming HEights...hale waffled about getting in bed with the gang.Tara and ##### Mom are getting close again.... Tara letting down guard, letting her around the kids. Mayor calls jax to meet up... provides lease to property for brothel and tells jax to move ahead with blackmail. Jax has lot on his mind, goes on ride and comes home to tara and mom asleep and a cooler had been delivered with a ### and finger for the mexi-gang. A Home invasion hits Sheriff's home... his wife is shot seriously in the process. Definitely white dudes. She bites one on the neck likely leading to reveal next week. That should cover the big stuff. :)

I still can't come up with one.

Or maybe he's like the Swede in Hell on Wheels. Ousted and looking to cause chaos for no apparent reason.
