So anyhoo... I hate to Hipple a thread, but I just banged out all 5 seasons in less than two weeks.

Can't wait to join all of you in the :rolleyes: -fest come September.

The Mexicans-turned-CIA was the most ridiculous/disappointing "twist" I've seen in years.

I think she probably looked better back then, but they just made her look like an idiot on that show. They didn't do her many favors.

Jax is just a straight up ##### nozzle now. Sutter has managed to turn me against him much more that Walter White (and that has been the goal all along in BB).

I know a lot of people disagree with me, but I still think he was in with Gemma setting up Tara. He is just too relaxed when they take Tara away and the shot with Gemma standing behind him at the end is uber creepy

1. Bobby trims beard too far, Kurt decides he can't use him, Season 6 opens with a beardless Bobby in a pool of blood.2. Clay kills the leader of the Mayans, starts speaking Spanish, becomes new leader of Mayans.

3. Otto and Sepinwall's character meet in jail and they have a slapfight.

4. Juice becomes mole for Gallindo...later revealed to be real leader of Gallindo.

5. Tara tries to run with kids. Jax follows close in motorcyle and fires a warning shot, causing Tara to run off the road with kids inside. Tara's car explodes, incinerating everyone inside. Jax cries, then shoots himself. With Bobby dead, Clay leading the Mayans, Juice heading Gallindo, Chibbs lasts two seconds as leader of SOA before the Irish kill him. Happy dies trying to avenge Chibbs. Gemma ####s Otto to death, then her defective heart fails on her and she dies. This leaves Filthy Phil as the leader of SOA. The end.

8. Jimmy Smit's character...ah who cares.
 
I only skimmed this thread, but Smits is getting a raw deal from most of you. He is fantastic.

His material on this show flat-out sucks. He showed all the acting chops he needed to on NYPD Blue.

I'll agree. Smits doesn't have much to work with. Hell none of the actors are getting any help from the writing and directing. About the only person on the show that just can't flat-out act is Fatass Phil. Oh and Sutter himself.

He wants Gemma even though he has a whore house full of young tail. That's where I started suspending disbelief.

He's not much of an actor? His awards beg to differ. I think he does a fine job, especially with the material given to him.

:lmao:I was a week behind all season watching on demand so I didn't check in here. I'm starting to wish I just dropped an episode and watched along with all of you. This show blows but I can't stop watching either.

Happy was a Technical Advisor for the show before Sutter decided he'd be good for the show. He's a major motorcycle nut (writes for Hot Rod magazine). Quite frankly, he's one of the few guys on the show left that I remotely like anymore.As far as Phil and Juice go, you got me there.

Nah. The idea of him branching out on his own gives the club a natural enemy for next season...and Sutter more storyline material. I like the possibility of Clay on his own with a new, bloodthirsty crew.

Isn't that basically what the Nomads were? If this is the case, I hope Frankie Diamonds' long lost twin brother Louie Diamonds shows up and aligns with Clay to avenge his brother's death. The more Chuck Zito, the better.

Love him when he's on with Howard Stern, but he is a DREADFUL actor. Glad they wrapped up his story quickly.

So I haven't watched in 5 weeks now. Judging by the comments and my memory of what has happened this season, I think I might have to make some space in my DVR and just follow the highlights here.

I just don't get how it got this bad this fast. The end of season 3 seemed like a great building off point. You still had Hale. The Russians were out there. There was a lot they could have done. Season 4 was ok. Watchable (except for the ridiculous juice stuff). Then there's this season. I went in thinking it would be great. then I just kept watching wanting it to be great. Then waiting for something good. And now just not caring. Sad really. Nothing to watch again. :mellow:

Ive watched it for 4.5 seasons now. Just stopped 5 episodes ago. They're sitting on my DVR. Just debating whether it's worth it or not now.
