Guy gets house robbed. Calls the police and a police officer shows up a few hours later. While the guy is out in the field tending his crop, the officer shoots the guy's dog. The officer won't put the dog out its misery so the guy has to drown his own dog to end its suffering.

The dog was shot in the head. Not sure why there's no blood, but watching the video, sounds like he didn't have much of a choice.

I really feel for him. How would the first cop know that a truck driving in from a field was the owner of the home and not the thieves?

Christ, in that case, I guess he should've shot the guys in the truck as well. Don't these guys carry pepper spray or tasers, Your on someone else's property, a dog does what a lot of dogs naturally do which is bark and instead of reaching for the pepper spray or taser just in case or maybe get back in your car, your first instinct is to shoot the dog. Then to show no remorse after the fact. Bravo.
