I guess that makes Tom Brady Roger Dorn in this situation.

I think Phenix said this was a poster here's team. The poster is Team Ramrod. If this guy is a subscriber to FBG, then FBG needs to do some damage control real quick ;)
I'm in another league with Ramrod and it's honestly hard to believe the same person constructed both of these rosters.

Ramrod's roster in my other league is as follows:

Player 2013 YTD Pts Bye Trade? Newton, Cam CAR QB (Q) 313.50 0 Trade Tannehill, Ryan MIA QB 272.26 0 Trade Ingram, Mark NOS RB 53.60 0 Trade McFadden, Darren OAK RB 91.74 0 Trade Michael, Christine SEA RB 7.90 0 Trade Miller, Lamar MIA RB 109.95 0 Trade Spiller, C.J. Studs are important in ten teamers, but that's an overpay. Spiller is worth an earlyish first, but not much more. He's got big upside but he's starting to get old enough that the "will this be the year" thing is a serious concern. Gronk is worth two early firsts, but with the injury history, that's a buying price. That leaves an extra first round pick in a deep draft. I take the picks without hesitation.

I have a similar situation in two Dynasty Leagues, where in one I am a perpetual contender, making every right move, juggernaut Roster.

The other (more or less a mirror league with 3-year Contract limits and TAXI), I am a forgone disaster, making counter-intuitive moves, betting-on-the-wrong-side, picks have not worked out, bailed too early on some guys, too late on others.

Yet I am always busting my hump in both, regardless. Heck, the League where I am softer is actually more fun, strangely.

If Ramrod pays his Fees in both Leagues and is an active Owner, what's to complain about?

This should be a topic for a different thread. I think if you have a league with 11 or 15 or N-1 owners that are competitive, and one is constantly getting destroyed in trades and blows draft picks and so on, it can ruin the league. I seen't it.

A might get the 2 best players in the deal. I like Evans. Could see rather having an early 2015 1st.

Great move, particularly considering the makeup of your team.

Thanks. Figured this team was set up to win now so why not go for it. Not really in love with any of the rookie RBs so it seemed like it made sense to make a move.

10 team start 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, 1 superflex, idp

Team A trades:

1.3, 1.4, 1.6, 1.10

Team B trades:

Gronk

Spiller
Gronk/Spiller assuming B doesn't have QB needs
Team B has Foles/Kaepernick at qb
Same league.

Team B trades

Bradford

Team C trades

Dobson

3.2
I'd buy Bradford for that....and more
Yah, I think the owner fell into the trap of deciding he needed to do SOMETHING. So he made a couple of moves. He approached me about Bradford, but did the standard "What would you give me for Bradford?" Rather then offering up a trade. (Side note: I hate when owners want to do a trade but expect me to do all the work in coming up with it) So he likely just took the best offer he received right then. Why would you feel the need to trade him right now though, and take less for him... It's April! Unless he thinks the Rams are going to draft a QB and cut Bradford or something weird like that.

Couple of trades seen in different leagues:

Team A gave 1.9, 2015 2nd(prob. late in the round)

Team B gave 1.3

Team A gave Gio Bernard, 2.04

Team B gave 1.1, 2.1, Travis Kelce (1.5 TE PPR)

the first trade . . .

someone trades down six spots to get an extra second NEXT year??

I didn't know this was a comedy thread.

II don't see a huge difference between 1.3 and 1.9 but bigger than a future 2nd.

Not involved.

PPR, 1/1/1/1/3 flex

Team A gets: McCoy

Team B gets: 1.1

-------------------------------------

Team C gets: 1.11, 2.11, Hillman

Team D gets: 2015 1st (likely mid-late), Brandon Myers

Not bad all in all. Hard to tell if he is rebuilding or just retooling

Forte for 1.4 is an absolute mugging imo

Team A traded the #6 rookie pick, Ray Rice, Vereen and Ridley

Team B traded Arian Foster, the #22 and #26 rookie picks.

Starting lineup atm is looking like:

Kaep/Foles one at QB one at Flex

Forte / Vereen

Cruz/Harvin + one of Hopkins/Wallace

Gates or Miller at TE

Decent IDP players

Picks owned are 1.3, 1.6. 1.10. 2.1, 3.2, 4.1, 5.1, 6.1

He finished in last place due to some key injuries, and Spiller disappearing, but traded his 1st before last season started. Could have a solid team this year

Not involved.

I imagine it shouldn't be long before team B is able to get 1.01 without needing to trade for it.
Keep in mind that you only have to start 1 RB in this league and he also has Lacy and Spiller. Older RB's don't carry much value (even though McCoy is only turning 26).
The definition of "older RBs" keeps getting younger and younger. Next thing you know, we'll be trading 23/24 year old rbs, trying to get out from under the "old" label.
