Finley wasn't on my roster, so I'm not going after anybody. I find it sad that I even had to say that as it seems you think anybody who questions the reasoning behind your posts or may disagree with you is only doing so out of some presumed psychological need to make themselves feel better about...
I've been following BMW's progress this past summer and I think that there's a good chance that he's productive this season and worth a pickup. DirtyWord and others have laid out most of the reasons why in this thread and a couple others as well. The only thing I'd like to add is that it costs...
The thinking is that DeAngelo is the starter and Jonathan Stewart is not. Seems fairly reasonable to take a seriously talented starting running back in the mid second round. LT had more points than Shonn Green last year. The thinking is the same for that one too.
I'd just like to say that his thread was an amazingly good idea. A good posting sign doesn't even do it justice. Kudos to Faust and the others contributing.
It doesn't really matter what happened in the playoffs last year. Unless you think it's somehow a good idea to rank players based on how they did in the month of december of the previous season.
Matthew Stafford and either Wes Welker (PPR) or Johnny Knox. I figure if you choose players in the passing game, it'll give you some idea of what to expect from others in the same passing game as well.
:goodposting: I can't understand why people don't see this. I personally think Charles is talented, but I could understand if people aren't sold on him because they've only seen him for half a season and don't want to risk a high pick on a player they're not confident about. I can even...
You're putting stock in that number even though there's no evidence to do so. For every example that supports your conclusion there's one that doesn't. There isn't in any way, shape, or form any statistical evidence to support the notion that a high workload in one year has the proposed effect...
I think it's really just a motivational ploy, and Haley's just trying to push Charles. He did the same thing with Bowe last year, however the Derrick Johnson situation was different because there were problems with his play. There's just no way that Charles stays off the field unless he starts...
That's a pretty good writeup. The only thing that I would add is that they did add Moeaki and McCluster to the offense as well. It remains to be seen what they will actually do but the targets that Cassel has to throw to this season should be massively improved from last year. I think I've said...
I'd also like to say that the team around him has improved. The Chiefs usually only had on starting caliber wide receiver on the field most games last year, and upgraded their slot receiver, tight end, the two weakest spots on the o line from last year. I'll actually be shocked if the offense...
I agree and am surprised anybody else said MJD. I thought i would be in a very small minority. But strictly between peterson and johnson, I think peterson is the better back. But this seems like an exercise in splitting hairs.
