Jermichael Finley, TE, Green Bay Packers

Finley wasn't on my roster, so I'm not going after anybody. I find it sad that I even had to say that as it seems you think anybody who questions the reasoning behind your posts or may disagree with you is only doing so out of some presumed psychological need to make themselves feel better about...

Jermichael Finley, TE, Green Bay Packers

Really? So, who else is going to tear their lateral meniscus this season?

    Somebody explain to me again...

Uhh, yes he did. He was the coach during the Titans-Rams Superbowl.

    MIKE X. WILLIAMS

I've been following BMW's progress this past summer and I think that there's a good chance that he's productive this season and worth a pickup. DirtyWord and others have laid out most of the reasons why in this thread and a couple others as well. The only thing I'd like to add is that it costs...

    DeAngelo vs JStewart

The thinking is that DeAngelo is the starter and Jonathan Stewart is not. Seems fairly reasonable to take a seriously talented starting running back in the mid second round. LT had more points than Shonn Green last year. The thinking is the same for that one too.

    Training Camp & Preseason Observations

I'd just like to say that his thread was an amazingly good idea. A good posting sign doesn't even do it justice. Kudos to Faust and the others contributing.

Anybody else love Mike Sims-Walker in the 5th-6th?

It doesn't really matter what happened in the playoffs last year. Unless you think it's somehow a good idea to rank players based on how they did in the month of december of the previous season.

If You Could See Final 2010 Stats Today For 2 Players

Matthew Stafford and either Wes Welker (PPR) or Johnny Knox. I figure if you choose players in the passing game, it'll give you some idea of what to expect from others in the same passing game as well.

Jamaal Charles reminds me of Julius Jones

:goodposting: I can't understand why people don't see this. I personally think Charles is talented, but I could understand if people aren't sold on him because they've only seen him for half a season and don't want to risk a high pick on a player they're not confident about. I can even...

Which top 4 RB do you think has best chance to bust

You're putting stock in that number even though there's no evidence to do so. For every example that supports your conclusion there's one that doesn't. There isn't in any way, shape, or form any statistical evidence to support the notion that a high workload in one year has the proposed effect...

    Jamaal Charles in KC

I think it's really just a motivational ploy, and Haley's just trying to push Charles. He did the same thing with Bowe last year, however the Derrick Johnson situation was different because there were problems with his play. There's just no way that Charles stays off the field unless he starts...

A team I feel that folks are overlooking

That's a pretty good writeup. The only thing that I would add is that they did add Moeaki and McCluster to the offense as well. It remains to be seen what they will actually do but the targets that Cassel has to throw to this season should be massively improved from last year. I think I've said...

Jamaal Charles, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

I'd also like to say that the team around him has improved. The Chiefs usually only had on starting caliber wide receiver on the field most games last year, and upgraded their slot receiver, tight end, the two weakest spots on the o line from last year. I'll actually be shocked if the offense...

Jamaal Charles, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

Yeah, that could be the case. Whatever the reason may be, I don't think it's something to overreact to.

Who's the better RB, Chris Johnson or AP?

I agree and am surprised anybody else said MJD. I thought i would be in a very small minority. But strictly between peterson and johnson, I think peterson is the better back. But this seems like an exercise in splitting hairs.

Jamaal Charles, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

I think that Jones running with the first team means very, very little in regards to Charles' place on the depth chart. Jones was working with the first team and was replaced by Kestahn Moore(who is fighting for a roster spot) after making some mistakes on Monday. It's most likely just a...

    Newbie looking for advice

I know it's been mentioned before, but I'm going to say it again because it's just that important. Know your league scoring system and format. It's the single most important thing you can do. I think the best way to do that is by going over data from previous seasons according to your specific...

    Terrell Owens, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Wow, that's a pretty eye opening comparison. My initial impression was that TO doesn't have too much left, but now I have to admit that I might consider him.
  19. C

    Chad Ochocinco, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

I don't see how it'll make any kind of difference for Ochocinco. Neither TO or Bryant is going to command a dominant amount of targets, so it's probably just a good thing that the Bengals have a little more depth at receiver.

    People here overvalue value

If I remember right, plenty of people last year thought ricky williams and vernon davis were scrubs. Not all fliers with upside have only been in the league one or two years. I think that's why you shouldn't completely ignore value, because fantasy performers can come from anywhere and I don't...
