He was also about a yard away from catching a second td but Rivers through a pretty bad pass that Brown made a nice adjustment on to catch at the 1 yd line on a quick slant. There was also a deep pass where he burned the cb on a nice move but slipped. So he could have very easily had a much...
yeah as far as I know he didn't come out after the game and blame the drop on interference. (if he did then ignore this post). But nothing wrong at least trying to bait the ref into throwing a flag.
that screen pass for the TD to Spiller was pretty bad. He wasn't even accounted for coming out of the backfield. How the hell do you not have someone spying Spiller on every play.
I don't think anyone thought he was the Lions RB of the future. But no one really knew what to expect from Leshoure. And I'm sure most people were expecting at least a pretty even split this week and not for him to drop off of the face of the earth.
It really is hard to believe. I didn't watch the game, but I've read a couple of things saying Leshoure looked good. He only put up 100 yards on 26 carries (3.8 ypc) with a long of 12 against the freaking Titans. I really find it hard to believe Smith wouldn't have easily done as well or...
After looking at the replay and the situation I definitely agree. I just heard a little clip from Morris last night talking about it costing the team etc., but after looking at it today it was 31-12 and the beginning of the 4th quarter! Definitely seems like a frustrated coach and immature move...
I like Brown this week. He should get the majority of the touches, has actually been pretty decent even with how bad the colts are, and obv a great matchup.
It's not just CJ? He's averaged 3 ypc this year. That's it! and these aren't tough grind it out, short yardage, goal line type yards. That is absolutely pathetic, regardless of the line. I mean it's sad when people make a big deal about him breaking a 20 yard run. Your statement about him...
fwiw CJ isn't going to "break out" ever again. He was below average last year and has been god awful this year. I really just don't get the love with this guy.
man '95 was a sick year for receivers in the NFC. Cris Carter 122 - 1,371 - 17. Rice 122-1,848-15. Herman Moore - 123-1686 -14. Irving 111 - 1603 - 10. top 2 single season yardage totals of all time, 3 out of top 6, and 4 out of top 11 from the same year. Also 4 of the top 7 reception...
