Plus he will always be threat to throw the ball. As for draft, I all for maximizing the number of picks we have from 23-75 ... I think there lot good talent, but no lock up top talent outside of top 10 in this draft. It does not matter if get extra picks in end 1st round or more picks in start...

New McShay has Ogletree and S Williams going to Vikings. And only 2 WR picked in 1st round. As I posted in the Allen thread.... I would think Vikings would jump up and grab WR if this holds true at top of 2nd or late 1st.

If this guy falls to the 2nd round the Vikings would be nuts, not package 4th and little more to move up to grab him. To be honest, I am still under the option the Vikings might package 2nd and 3rd to move back in to 1st round like last year. Grabbing 3 1st rounder's that will be starting...

We all do! Just not at 7.5 M a year. Ogletree... I think at 25 would be good pick (Greenway would be calling the plays), but ILB in 2nd round works too. I still like Vikings package their 4th to move up in 2nd round to have 3 picks in top 40 or so... DT,WR,ILB would be 3 picks I like to see...

Jennings will produce number 2 ff numbers in 12 man leagues. But in nfl he will have to be game planed and command respect. I have to agree draft picks and Jennings greater the Percy ... Now lets go out get nice big outside wr at 22. As for contract to make last 10million on it Jennings needs...

Welker set the market for Jennings, he might get little more to play with unproven QB and not with Manning. If land Jennings, Brian Urlacher and top CB in FA I could see us going WR, DT in 1st round. I still like get another WR in 2nd.

Petterson did what he did vs NFC North, whos defense are built around stoping Rogers,Standford and Cutler..... Not AP. And of course you go right, loadholt is great run blocker but sub-par vs pass. Vikings need to hold on to him though.As for 8-8 I think it depend on how the draft pans out, but...

Argee I would be happy with 2 WR with 2 of the 3 picks in top 60. My favs are hutner, Woods and Allen, but FA that can teach route running would rock. Or bring in Chris Carter to work with the WR on running routes.

And 2 losses with out Harvin where @CHI and @GB wining on the road in NFC Central is not easy .... Point is not pin losses on Harvin but to say Vikings did not fall off the face of the earth with out him.
