what about fantasy trades? can we post those? (kidding of course)

What do you need to win it all tonight?!

I have a 57 point lead. my opponent has Love, Jefferson, and Reed (WR) playing. I have Osborn playing I just need my player to not get outscored by those 3 by 57.2 points. Its not a lock, but I do like my chances.

    QB Joe Flacco, IND

its the Jets. this shouldnt surprise you. there likely is another factor..... with Rodgers salary they may not actually have the cap space

    RB Bijan Robinson, ATL

I dont know about that, but some coaches also dont like rookies. maybe its one of those things. he is closing the door to higher usage and forcing Bijan to kick down the door and force him to play him more. and so far that has not really happened. remember this team had a 1000 yard...

Week 15 - What do you need MNF to advance edition.

I need Goedert to get less than 23.8 points to advance.

2024 Cleveland Browns - THE RETURN OF CADE YORK

fair point, but if another team were to sign him he would need to learn a new playbook over the course of at least 2 and possibly 3 weeks. where does that take you? by the time hes able to help you your playoff hopes could be done. Flacco also knows this and he wants a chance to show he...

    RB Bijan Robinson, ATL

possibly. I dont question the guys talent but more the way the team is using him at times. he should be doing a whole lot better than he is.... but then again if playing devils advocate.......if you dont think you have a superbowl calibre team, why run down your best RB? might as well...

    **SNF - Ravens at Jaguars**(+3, 41.5) 8:20

I am just curious. why was Jaxonville taking time outs on the Ravens last drive of the half. the run play had happened, they could have run off 40 seconds each time. with a minute and a half to go this would have run the ravens out of time and forced a FG. They essentially helped them on...

2024 Cleveland Browns - THE RETURN OF CADE YORK

Maybe so, but this is a year where so many Starting QB have gone down that the playoff teams are the ones where the QB went down late or teams who had an adequate backup. basically its the last man standing who will win haha.

    QB Joe Flacco, IND

despite his late game INT, Flacco was pretty good in this one. I dont think the team would have remained competitive with either of the other Browns QB were they able to play. With Flacco the team at least had a shot at winning late in the game. If the kicker wouldnt have botched the extra...

Benching a MNF player to ensure the win

they are. as a guy whose team missed the playoffs as a .500 team I lost a playoff spot last year based on this. First time ever that a .500 team missed the playoff in our league and this was the reason.

    RB Kyren Williams, LAR

agreed exactly my point. McVay just pulls the trigger a little quicker than maybe some othere guys out there. but Williams passes the eye test and so long as that remains the case he will be the starter.

    RB Kyren Williams, LAR

I know people are nervous about mcvay's tendency to trade/bench players, but all of those players were not productive. They then went to other teams and remained non productive (with the exception of Goff) at the position of RB McVay was on the mark with every RB change/move/trade he has made...

Benching a MNF player to ensure the win

agreed. chances of a stat correction is likely larger than the odds of Etienne going negative on points. Especially considering the small margin. if we ignore the moral high ground for one moment, from a mathematical perspective for me to even consider benching the player the margin of...

Benching a MNF player to ensure the win

it actually happens a lot. you can go into yahoo (and probably most other ones) and there is an area where they post the stat corrections for the week. there was one play I saw yesterday (cant remember who it was for some reason) where it was called a forward pass for some decent yardage but...

    RB Isiah Pacheco, KC

yeah most RB's are done at 30. better than average chance that hes done at 29 or possibly 28 instead (like Zeke who also took a lot of hits)
  17. R

Benching a MNF player to ensure the win

it makes sense from that perspective. but it is worth noting that .2 of a point is within the range of potential stat corrections for all players. so if you bench your guy and a stat correction happens and you are suddenly losing by 0.1 of a point you'd be reallly sad. in my opinion the...

2024 Cleveland Browns - THE RETURN OF CADE YORK

yep. hes been winning with smoke and mirrors (and a good defense) but you gotta give him credit. win by whatever means necessary. and the QB situation has not been good but he found a way to keep them competitive. You cant argue with that.

2024 Cleveland Browns - THE RETURN OF CADE YORK

that has been my point all along. Flacco is at least starting calibre. Granted on the low end of the starting spectrum but good enough to keep the defense honest so they cant key on the run. and a solid game manager. with this o line and this defense that may be good enough.

2024 Cleveland Browns - THE RETURN OF CADE YORK

excluding the QB position maybe...... but the QB position has been dreadful. I think the phrase should be modified. Best team on paper .... in reality, not the best.
