deciding between Moreno, spiller, sproles & BJGE in one league. i have to pick one and currently have moreno in...tough choices for a semi final weekend! with my luck, i'm sure i'll pick the wrong one...
This is along the lines of my thinking. Having the 8th pick proposes a few problems in being able to secure a Rice, Fitz & Jennings combo. I would love to have it, however, it's not likely. With the mocks that i have done, i have typically ended up with Mendenhall, R. White, Whitten/Gates...
In a few of the mocks that I've done, I've gone this route. In these drafts, I've gone, in no particular order, RB, WR, QB, TE. And in most cases, i've gotten one of the top tiered players at each position. I've typically liked my teams better when I've done this. I'm just so accustomed to...
I can agree with that...completely actually. It's the first league my buddy is trying to coordinate and he is coming off of his first championship in FF last year, so he's pretty excited about starting a league of his own. Hopefully, moving forward, he'll at least consider adding teams.
I did search and didn't find anything on an 8 team draft strategy, so I figured i would start here. I recently got asked to be in an 8 team league where i drew the 8th pick. I've never been in an 8 team league so I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has and the strategy that you...
Is there a time that is too late to call? I've usually made my call by now, but am a little hesitant. I mean, when DTV let's you preview the ST the first week of the season, will it be too late to get a deal on the ST after that? I cancelled the ST as soon as the season was over last year...
unfortunately i do not think that MFL has it set up to work any other way. In our league, we have the #1 seed play the lowest remaining seed after the first week of the playoffs. The #2 seed would play the other team remaining. Because MFL sets it up to where the winner of the 3/6 seeded game...
thanks for all your input. The thing about MFL is that it does state that when the owner does not put a lineup in, the previous weeks lineup will be submitted. I can see where many would think that that would go on a game by game basis if that's how your league is set up. I.E. roth plays on...
I believe FWP's points should stand. If an owner can't get to a computer to change his lineup he needs to take the appropriate measures to make sure his lineup is correct and what he wants. after the game, that player becomes frozen in the starting lineup.
i, as the commish of my league, have another situation.
Because in MFL, lineups do carry over, i had an owner who did not submit his lineup thinking that rothlisberger would automatically stay in. He probably should have thought that. However, he submitted his lineup after thursday's game was...
I'm holding with confidence in dynasty as well. best case scenario is that KC holds him out the rest of the year which would bascally give LJ a litte more than a season off. While his age is quickly approaching 30, his wear and tear isn't all that bad. KC has to be improving (they can't get...
I realize that this might not be the right forum and it might bring a totally different conversation, but is he someone you give up manning for at this point? i've been offered cutler along with braylon edwards for manning and reggie brown... it's definitely something that i have thought about...
Any thoughts that Grossman improves this season? It was technically his first season as the starter. I'm not saying that he will be a stud, but the man only has like 19-20 games under his belt, plus a Super Bowl now.
i think he will start out like David Carr and end up like Drew Bledsoe. With that line in Oakland, there is no way that he puts up decent numbers...not to mention the weak core of Wr's he has in Oakland.
I just traded away randy in my dynasty league and in return got bernard berrian and a draft pick in the second round.

I wasn't interested in doing one before the draft. I was just wondering if there was such a thing out there so that when the draft does happen, i can go there and get in some mocks.
