I posted some Khalfani Muhammad highlights on one of my old YouTube channels. Short player, but very very fast.I am dealing with HS prospects. Ppl already own Fournette and Mixon and Hood. Hoping this thread turns up some quality choices
I've got Stringfellow in a college keeper league (that I believe I was in with you several years ago), and I like him too. He played well when given chances this year, and he should get a lot more next year.I posted some Khalfani Muhammad highlights on one of my old YouTube channels. I will throw up some Damore'ea Stringfellow highlights sometime soon.
I don't think either of those guys is obviously worthy of a high dev pick at the moment, but they're two reasonably promising Pac-12 freshmen who won't be on the radar of a lot of the national pundits yet.
I knew you were Arsene Wenger!Another deep league special is Colorado State rising senior TE Kivon Cartwright. Very good efficiency stats this past season with 17.1 yards per catch and 6 TDs on just 27 receptions. Decent frame and looks to have quality speed for the position. Highlights available here:

Yep, start 1 QB with another possible starting QB in the super flex spot.JohnnyU said:Can multiple QBs start in your Super Flex leagues? If not, I just don't see a QB being the most expensive.I'm doing 2 devy auctions later this off-season in a super flex league. I expect Jameis to be the most expensive player in both. One is a new league, so everyone will be available. The other is a year old and Cooper, Gurley, Yeldon and others are gone.

You're allowed to draft HS Seniors? Thanks a bunch.... At the moment. Without saying who all is taken.. It looks like Winston or Damien Harris or Jamambo (both HS) at #2 pick for me in august....
That's moronic. On guy picked up Barry Sanders junior when he was 10.

Thanks for posting this. I'll be very interested to see how things shake out between Diggs/DGB/Treadwell in devy drafts this year.Devy draft in process. 2015-eligibles only.
Melvin Gordon and Jay Ajayi already taken last year.

At 5'10.5" and 176 pounds I can't say I'm excited about his size.Keep an eye on incoming HS WR Speedy Noil at Texas A&M.
Composite 5 star, destroyed in his all star game last week ( Under Armor? )
Early enrollee so he'll go thru spring ball.
Mike Evans is gone so that leaves a bunch of JAGS on the A&M roster excluding Seals Jones.
Noil can play all 4 positions and should see the field early, very excited to see him.

Weren't you hyping up Maxx Williams over on Footballsfuture? There's going to be a TE that's more talented than Eric Ebron for 2015, yet no one is talking about him. There is absolutely no buzz. No, its not Devin Funchess.
Are you waiting for an invitation to share? Isn't that the point of the thread? I'm confused as to your intent here. There's going to be a "Melvin Gordon" for the 2015 and 2016 eligible class.

I've got leaguemates on FBGs, so I won't publicly reveal their names until August. Are you waiting for an invitation to share? Isn't that the point of the thread? I'm confused as to your intent here. There's going to be a "Melvin Gordon" for the 2015 and 2016 eligible class.

Motivate others to step up their game and identify these players and get them for cheap before they blow up on a national level.then your reasoning for bumping this thread now is...?I've got leaguemates on FBGs, so I won't publicly reveal their names until August. Are you waiting for an invitation to share? They look nothing alike. Beckham is an inch taller and 25 lbs heavier. Not to mention how Beckham catches the ball with those huge 10" hands. He's closer to Antonio Brown, but bigger.Noil reminds me A LOT of Odell Beckham. At 5'10.5" and 176 pounds I can't say I'm excited about his size.Keep an eye on incoming HS WR Speedy Noil at Texas A&M.

Beckham was listed at a similar weight as a recruit. Plenty of prospects add weight by the time they reach the NFL. Amari Cooper was 185 as a recruit. He's listed at 205 and actually looks thicker than that as of late. They look nothing alike. Beckham is an inch taller and 25 lbs heavier. juco transfers are usually the ones that seem to pop up out of nowhere. Not much good info on them. Not sure if he's Xue's guy, but Jovon Robinson is a RB who should skyrocket between now and the '16 draft.
It's sort of like the draft. They're very hit or miss, but there's a strong correlation between high rankings and eventual success. My experience with high school recruiting rankings is mostly negative. They seem to have a poor success rate, so I haven't ever really used them. Used them as a guideline last year for one pick, but that was really it. Made my pick based off other sources but I got pointed in that direction due to rankings.
Are they getting better than they used to be?
less rankings, more a starting point for deep devo draft research, so, thanks. I saw Alex Collins on all of the lists last year, so I dug up some tape and articles and rolled the dice. I don't pay attention to anything high school football outside of northeast ohio and Michigans top recruits. These are just names to me when we start our draft each May.It's sort of like the draft. Pull up the Rivals 100 from any year and you will see a lot of busts, but also a lot of big names. Far more than random chance would dictate.
I just randomly pulled up their 2008 list. Terrelle Pryor, Julio Jones, AJ Green, Blaine Gabbert, DeVier Posey, Jon Baldwin, Mike Floyd, EJ Manuel, and Ryan Williams all in the top 50. That's pretty impressive. They keep close tabs on these kids nowadays. A lot can still happen with physical development and off-field issues disrupting the equation, but certainly high school recruiting rankings are a good starting point if you're looking to rank high school kids and NCAA underclassmen.
Beckham as a recruit not = Beckham now, nor does it equal Noil now. Beckham looks like a stud with the way he attacks the ball and the way he runs routes and catches passes with those huge mitts of his. Here are their pages on Scout.com:
http://louisianastate.scout.com/a.z?s=107&p=8&c=1&nid=4586850
http://tamu.scout.com/a.z?s=187&p=8&c=1&nid=5851975
They had Beckham at 5'11" 175 as a recruit. If you look at the strengths/weaknesses profiles, they're nearly identical. They have the exact same weaknesses listed and the exact same strengths except Noil has "speed" as a positive and Beckham does not.
Noil is actually a more highly-regarded recruit, being rated as the #7, #19, and #21 player in the country by ESPN, Scout, and Rivals respectively.

I agree with your last paragraph, but I don't necessarily believe these two wrs look the same and I like Noil. The difference is the way Beckham goes after the ball and how he catches the ball with his HUGE hands. Noil doesn't look the same when he catc,he's the ball. Perhaps we should agree to disagree on that point. You mean like this?Beckham as a recruit not = Beckham now, nor does it equal Noil now. Rankings are a good starting guide, but I watch the video to weed out guys I like or not. I think with there being more video coverage and exposure for these kids at such a young age, even as HS Freshman or Sophomores, the recruiting sites are getting better as well the common fan.My experience with high school recruiting rankings is mostly negative. Auburn backfield is pretty stacked, so I'm not sure if I wanna touch those guys in a shallow Devy. Not sure if he's Xue's guy, but Jovon Robinson is a RB who should skyrocket between now and the '16 draft.
