Two rookie QB's starting against each other in week three. The league sure has changed.

It's about time for Cam to struggle.He's so much more effective in the shotgun, I could see that biting him soon. No threat of play-action will eventually make life alot more difficult.

Jags first drive started at their 10. Gabbert's first pass was a 17 yard bullet to Hill, but it was called back on a penalty by their o-line. That led to 3rd and long, Gabbert got sacked in the endzone for a safety. Jags down 2-0.

End of the first quarter, Panthers lead 2-0 but are in scoring position and have owned the time of possession and field position in this game.

That's been one of the problems over the recent seasons, the line not giving the QB the time he needs to find his receivers.

He has looked okay on the short stuff, but anything beyond 5 yards he is throwing hard and too high.

Cam needs to settle down. It's all there, if that makes sense.. it's just nerves. He's getting decent time, he just needs to get more comfortable.

He looks okay, I think the stat is deceiving in that a lot of those 30 yards are probably one 10+ yard run.

Heavy rain is coming down and it has already started to affect the game. A dump off by Newton slipped through the TE's fingers and Gabbert fumbled a snap but the Panthers were offside.

Gabbert throws his first NFL interception on a rainbow pass to the safety after pump faking to the same receiver he went to. It obviously drew the safety that way. Easy interception.
