....and he's a stupid idiot too. What a moron this clown is.
@greggrosenthal This would make 8 arrests for Kenny Britt since he entered the NFL in 2009.
No bath salts?Bump CJ2K.. down.
I haven't yet received confirmation. I'm still on hold with representatives at MortonsNo bath salts?Bump CJ2K.. down.
I am not, but there have been many Britt fans in his off season thread who said the knucklehead behavior was over.Is anyone really surprised?
It did look like, once he moved away to Tenn for good leaving Bayonne, NJ and his old friends behind he would turn it aroun. Guess he didn't leave the stupid behind.I am not, but there have been many Britt fans in his off season thread who said the knucklehead behavior was over.Is anyone really surprised?
Who else is on that team?My only dynasty league I own Lynch, Dez, & Britt. This is hilarious!
I don't want anyone to lose sleep so I will keep it confidential until the next one gets arrested.Who else is on that team?My only dynasty league I own Lynch, Dez, & Britt. This is hilarious!
Please post your entire roster so fellow FBG members can divest themselves of of all commen players. TIA!My only dynasty league I own Lynch, Dez, & Britt. This is hilarious!
While that sounds like a reasonable assumption, OC Palmer has no history of utilizing the TE in his approach. No TE has ever caught more than 53 passes under Palmer. Fools gold IMO.Bump the Cook breakout threads. Again.
I am thinking this. He should be low. Anyone know how long his suspension will be? Is he up for the entire season this time?Buy low.
Good news is, in one dynasty league, I traded him last year for Anquan Boldin, Emmanuel Sanders, 3.02 (Greg Childs) and pick 1.02. I ended up flipping 1.02, 1.11 and Eric Decker for Megatron. So, that's great. However, I was an idiot and traded Peyton Manning/Victor Cruz for Michael Vick/Kenny Britt in another dynasty league. What's crazy is, I traded Britt last year given his long history of injuries and run-ins with the law. I'm kicking myself for taking him in one league. But, heck, at least I dumped him in another dynasty league.Traded him and my 1st in a dynasty league for Ray Rice earlier this off season
My guess is probably 4 games at least, given Goodell met with Britt and told him to stay out of trouble. However, it wouldn't surprise me if it was longer. My question is, Britt was probably going to start slow anyway, given his knee issues. If Britt gets put on PUP, can he be credited with serving his suspension? Either way, I wasn't counting on Britt to be a big contributor the first 6 games anyway, so hopefully he won't miss more than the first 6-8 games. I can't believe this dude got arrested again. I won't touch this moron in any of my dynasty leagues anymore.I am thinking this. He should be low. Anyone know how long his suspension will be? Is he up for the entire season this time?Buy low.
Hopefully Goodell doesn't know about any of these other arrests. Pacman Jones must have left behind some reading material in the Titans locker room.1) July 2012: Arrested for DUI at a military base in TN

2) June 2011: Arrested for resisting arrest with force, fabricating evidence, and obstruction of justice. He was caught with pot and tried to crush the blunt to hide the evidence.

3) April 2011: Arrested in NJ for speeding, eluding an officer, and lying to an officer--he apparently tried to walk away after being pulled over and pretended that he was not the driver of the car.

4) Feb 2011: Failure to bail bondsmen money.

5) October, 2010: Bar fight

6) Jan. 2010: Britt was arrested in January 2010 for three outstanding traffic warrants during a New Jersey traffic stop. He paid the $865 due and was released.

More on this: " In January, Britt was arrested in New Jersey for having numerous outstanding vehicle-related warrants totaling $865. (Between June 2009 and the April 12 incident, Britt was pulled over 17 times in New Jersey, according to an automated traffic system ticket inquiry. Of the 29 citations issued, only seven were dismissed and Britt has paid more than $3,000 in fines.)"

7) Aug, 2009: Driving without a license
8) ???? I can't figure out what the 8th arrest was for.
I said it above in this one.It was reported that he left NJ for good to get away from the bad influence of those he grew up with - apparently he should have left his old brain behind as well.wasnt someone in some thread sayign since he istn in NJ anymore that his trouble is over? geez
Dude! Can you PM me your complete roster so I know who to jettison? My only dynasty league I own Lynch, Dez, & Britt. This is hilarious!
I believe he escaped a penalty last year because the lockout was happening. This is like Britt handing Gooddell a "do over" card. So, this one may be lengthy (6 game variety). Question: If Britt is not cleared to come back and ends up on a PUP or something, can he serve a suspension during that time or would he have t be on PUP for 6 weeks and then come back and serve the suspension? If its the latter, he could theoretically wash his whole season. My guess is probably 4 games at least, given Goodell met with Britt and told him to stay out of trouble. However, it wouldn't surprise me if it was longer. My question is, Britt was probably going to start slow anyway, given his knee issues. i have a friend who got a DUI while driving in the Presidio (SF), which is federal property. was charged with a federal crime. wonder how much more difficult it will be for Britt to fight this one if it happened on Fort Campbell?Think about how stupid Britt would have to be to drive drunk, pull into a military base, and try to get through a check point. WTF? First, he shouldn't be driving drunk. Second, why the heck would this idiot pull into a check point when he is drunk? OMG. He might as well pull up next to a cop, ask for directions while holding an open bottle of Jack Daniels and request a sobriety test. Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
CorrectI'm going to bump Nate Washington and Jared Cook more than Wright for redrafts.
Not very. Just from what I read, I think this was an attempt to enter the base. Military bases post their folks checking and granting access to the base. Bases tend to try to maintain very good relations with the local community, so the big question might be was he arrested and escorted to base lockup or was he turned over to the local authorities. My knee-jerk reaction would be turned over to the locals. If it WAs a base matter, the soldier trying to get him on base is likely in more trouble with the base than Britt is.i have a friend who got a DUI while driving in the Presidio (SF), which is federal property. was charged with a federal crime. wonder how much more difficult it will be for Britt to fight this one if it happened on Fort Campbell?Think about how stupid Britt would have to be to drive drunk, pull into a military base, and try to get through a check point. He just now got around to finally unpacking it. Must have been buried in one of those last few cardboard boxes out in the garage."Oh, there's my stupid! I was wondering where it was."'Dr. Octopus said:It did look like, once he moved away to Tenn for good leaving Bayonne, NJ and his old friends behind he would turn it aroun. Everyone deserves a ninth chance.'Da Guru said:8 arrests in three years seems like a bit much..even by NFL standards. Look for King Roger to bring the hammer down.
