geez....are these guys having an underground contest to see how many can get in trouble before training camp???

And these are the only guys getting caught...who else is out there but not getting caught.

 
Own Britt in 3 of my 7 dynasty leagues.

Value wise, he's gone from

Randy Moss for 3 games.

Colston-esque due to surgeries.

Chris Henry - Bengals (RIP) due to arrest pattern.

8 arrests in three years seems like a bit much..even by NFL standards. Look for King Roger to bring the hammer down.

Good news is, in one dynasty league, I traded him last year for Anquan Boldin, Emmanuel Sanders, 3.02 (Greg Childs) and pick 1.02. I ended up flipping 1.02, 1.11 and Eric Decker for Megatron. So, that's great. However, I was an idiot and traded Peyton Manning/Victor Cruz for Michael Vick/Kenny Britt in another dynasty league. What's crazy is, I traded Britt last year given his long history of injuries and run-ins with the law. I'm kicking myself for taking him in one league. But, heck, at least I dumped him in another dynasty league.

I am thinking this. He should be low. Anyone know how long his suspension will be? Is he up for the entire season this time?

My guess is probably 4 games at least, given Goodell met with Britt and told him to stay out of trouble. However, it wouldn't surprise me if it was longer. My question is, Britt was probably going to start slow anyway, given his knee issues. If Britt gets put on PUP, can he be credited with serving his suspension? Either way, I wasn't counting on Britt to be a big contributor the first 6 games anyway, so hopefully he won't miss more than the first 6-8 games. I can't believe this dude got arrested again. I won't touch this moron in any of my dynasty leagues anymore.

Hopefully Goodell doesn't know about any of these other arrests. Pacman Jones must have left behind some reading material in the Titans locker room.
 
Think about how stupid Britt would have to be to drive drunk, pull into a military base, and try to get through a check point. WTF? First, he shouldn't be driving drunk. Second, why the heck would this idiot pull into a check point when he is drunk? OMG. He might as well pull up next to a cop, ask for directions while holding an open bottle of Jack Daniels and request a sobriety test. Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I believe he escaped a penalty last year because the lockout was happening. This is like Britt handing Gooddell a "do over" card. So, this one may be lengthy (6 game variety). Question: If Britt is not cleared to come back and ends up on a PUP or something, can he serve a suspension during that time or would he have t be on PUP for 6 weeks and then come back and serve the suspension? If its the latter, he could theoretically wash his whole season.

i have a friend who got a DUI while driving in the Presidio (SF), which is federal property. was charged with a federal crime. wonder how much more difficult it will be for Britt to fight this one if it happened on Fort Campbell?

Not very. Just from what I read, I think this was an attempt to enter the base. Military bases post their folks checking and granting access to the base. Bases tend to try to maintain very good relations with the local community, so the big question might be was he arrested and escorted to base lockup or was he turned over to the local authorities.My knee-jerk reaction would be turned over to the locals. If it WAs a base matter, the soldier trying to get him on base is likely in more trouble with the base than Britt is.

He just now got around to finally unpacking it. Must have been buried in one of those last few cardboard boxes out in the garage."Oh, there's my stupid! I was wondering where it was."

But then again, I'm a Robert Quinn owner, and he just got popped for one too. Not getting a DUI isn't hard to do for average folks. I just don't get it.

Forgive my ignorance on this one, I simply can't remember. Has Britt EVER been suspended for anything he's been arrested for? I see he's missed plenty of games, but I think those were all from injuries.
