$50 million hard cap league, maximum contract 5 years

J.bell $450,000 2 year

C.ivory $900,000 2 year

J.hill $450,000 3 year

For

2015 1.02 (rookie cost $5,500,000)

2015 2.02

2015 2.10

Personally I wouldn't of done it due to hills cheap price.

Thoughts
1.2 for me

Jeffery will be 25 next week?
Pretty sure he was being sarcastic. I expect people to hate this trade for me as I'm the one receiving Beckham. I'm fine with it though. I got the guy I wanted most and this is also my favorite league. Not huge money but my most active league. I'll take the "loss" to get my guy any day.
Aren't you the guy who traded John Brown for Storm Johnson last year? Maybe I'm wrong, just curious.

Yes I am. Thanks for remembering. I've made many trades. Lost some and won some. I then packaged Storm and Quick for Lamar Miller.

I will take the 1.01 and West.

I like West more than most though. He isn't quite worth the 1.10 but an overpay on West leaves an underpay for the 1.01 I would take

Hill for that salary. Not sure Gurley/Gordon is worth 10X what Hill is. Saving that $$ has to make you alot more flexible in the auction so I like that

Bell and Ivory are not liabilities either but not worth the picks

I like the Mason side and the picks side in the 2nd one.

Washed my hands of Josh Gordon. Gordon for Charles Johnson and the 2.07.
you made the trade w Bloom, ya?

He's very happy with it, as it seems you are as well.

Just shows the different strategies in dynasty... that's why I love it.
Yeah, was Bloom. Main thought is I'm ambivalent on all 3 of the pieces but think I can flip the 2nd and Johnson for more than I can flip Gordon for in the foreseeable future.

Discussing Gordon for me is pointless.. we all know where I stand

If you can take the hit of holding him for a year, you do it, imo. If you are in a position where you can't risk holding him, makes sense to flip.

For me, I have the luxury of holding him. Not always the case tho

Eh I held him for a year and got no return. I was skeptical now I ever would. Don't know if he's ever gone 20 months without some sort of issue. Thankfully I didn't pay a whole lot for him and still came out essentially even.

Well, I just traded for Gordon (FFPC).

Gave a 2016 2nd (my own, should be late) for him.

I have a good team and don't have a very good 15/16th player, so hanging on to Gordon for a year won't be a problem with 20 man rosters during the season. I think a late future 2nd and a roster space for the year is worth the gamble right now. I still have a few roster spots for waivers guys with potential.

If he fizzes away into nothingness, so be it.

Since consecutive trades, the overall picture boils down to:

Team A gave up:
1.04
2.04
3.04

Team B gave up:
Mason, Tre STL RB
McKinnon, Jerick MIN RB
Hunter, Justin TEN WR

So it all depends on what rookie pick you'd take those guys at.

I like Mason but prefer the 1.4. I am not sure if McKinnon can be a featured back and Hunter looks lost when I watch him, even though the talent is there

In a PPR league, I'd rather have 1.4 to gamble on a WR. I like Mason but view him as low upside in PPR (although I wouldn't mind being wrong on that).

As far as market value, McKinnon and Hunter are worth a whole lot more. However both players are pretty enigmatic. The likelihood of AP being back in Minn is a big cloud over McKinnon's value. I don't like him enough to sit on him and wait for him to be a starter. Even so he's likely better than the RB left at 2.4. Hunter's probably terrible but they'll give him one more shot, which is more than you can say for a 4th round rookie WR you'd probably find at 2.9. Just looking at raw ADP you could swap him for Eifert, Olsen, Fitzgerald, Spiller, and a few other guys I like better than 2.9. I would feel fine taking the players if it was an active league and I felt confident I could move them.

I did a similar trade.

Bryce Brown

Charles Johnson

CJ Fiedorowicz

'16 1st (runner-up in '14)

'16 2nd

for

Percy Harvin

Josh Gordon

Start 1-3 RBs (half PPR), 2-5 WRs (1 PPR) so you basically want to start 5 WRs unless you have stud RBs. With that in mind Bryce Brown and CJ Fiedorowicz have very little value. Who wins the deal basically depends on what happens with Gordon for the '16 season. I felt I paid a bit more than what I wanted to, but I also feel I got the two most valuable pieces.

Calvin Johnson

Vernon Davis

for

#5 pick rookie

#15 pick rookie

#31 pick rookie rd 2

2016 rd 2 rookie (middle of the pack team in 2015)

Calvin easily
by how much?

what would've been an even trade?
I guess it would depend but a solid WR/RB prospect or pick between that #5 and #15. I would think a Adams/Arob/Moncrief/Latimer type would even it out for me in a 16 team league.

Depth is important but replacing Calvin's production is very hard to do.

I actually avoid trading studs/elite players for picks only whenever possible

Thats alot of picks for Jeffery. I don't usually trade top players for only picks but a decent haul I might move Jeffery for too

Love the Martin deal for you

Definitely a nice haul for Jeffery. I would pay a 2nd for Martin also

That jeffrey trade is hugely roster dependent for me.

And "four firsts" sounds appealing till you see they are all late firsts.

Value your way a little but i definitely dont see it as a huge haul.

However, of the young top rankes WRs, Jeffrey is the one i would prefer to move.

Trade 1-Picks. Nicely done. Trade 2. You in a. Rebuild? Think I'd prefer the pick assuming it's early.
