so, i liked sierra leone a bit and stronghold too. with SL maybe sitting at 5-1, i decided to drop the following:

Either played Fierceness on top or nothing pretty much. $200 Win. $100 exactas from him to Just Steel and Just a Touch in case speed follows him all the way around. $20 exactas to the closers. Have tri's and supers following that logic too. Then in case Fierceness doesn't break I've spread with Sierra Leon and Forever Young (he's getting bet so hard can't leave him out) on top to a bunch of longshots. All the one's I mentioned in my post plus threw in Stronghold. Boxed a few closers in case it's chaos

Fierceness by far has the fastest time in the field.
17 position has never won.
Runs well every other race (this isn't the every other race).

I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with the 17, just coincidence IMO. Much different than the rail where everyone crashes over.

I prefer any speed to be more outside anyway
