Guessing I'll see some new LuLaRoe Turkey and Candy Cane leggings any day now

I guess it could be worse but I just hate seeing my hard earned fantasy and gambling money wasted on stuff like that.   I need to tell her next time she wants to buy something dumb she needs to buy Bitcoin instead 

 
Heading to Vegas with my homeboys for our annual trip this Friday.  Before the season, this looked like an easy top 2 NFL weekend and top 3 college weekend.  Now it's pretty....bleh.  The NFL slate is downright crappy.  Oh well, that's why we gamble!  At least we've got Georgia/Auburn and Ok/TCU as big games.  

Anyway, I'm counting on you fellow degens to help me out a bit.  We are staying at Palazzo, and the book there most likely won't have any player props.  Not sure if I'll get to El Cortez or Westgate to play some, but I might hike up the Will Hill lottery machine at Casino Royale to see what they have.  Hoping we can keep the stupid run of first td calls going

Mostly I'm just excited to go, like a kid looking forward to Christmas.  I'd fly out tonight if I could.  :)  

 
Stanford 6-1 SU as the home dog L7 since Dec 01, 2007. This is the first time they're getting points at home since they beat Oregon (-10) five seasons ago. Do you remember betting that game? That was a big one.

Akron +4.5 2H to tail on the original +7 down 4 at the half. Buffalo -3 2H to tail on the original -8 up 7 at the half, I'll take a swing on a 10 point win. 

 
Thing is I know it's a horrible bet.  I'll come out and say it upfront.  Away team on the road vs what's probably an under rated team.  

I dont think 3.5 is enough tomorrow night.  Give me Toledo.

You’re right though it is a better CFB weekend than I first thought. Was bummed FSU/Clemson turned into a dud and that Stanford/Uw isn’t more meaningful.  Nfl slate is still poop tho.

 
only did my own plays this weekend and the only thing that went out the window for me on maction was my bankroll so now it's going to be canned tuna and going to bed early until "reload saturday" gets here at least it's not pimiento cheese speaking of cat food somewhere a fat man with a pinky ring is smiling

 
When I won my big Dak ROY bet at 5Dimes, I posted/complained in here because it took months to get the check, then another six weeks for it to clear.

After winning the Astros World Series bet, I requested a payout two days ago and received the check by FedEx today. 

I'm wondering if cashing out during football season might be a good idea because of their increased cash flow?

Also, they write their checks on some bank in Montreal, Canada. It took my credit union six weeks to clear the last check. I wonder if Wells Fargo or other major bank might be a lot faster? Your experiences?

I have found that as humans we tend to tell the best stories to ourselves. Our brains are wired toward narrative because it is a confusing world we live in and harbor a constant need to make sense of things we don't understand.
