Not to be an old man yelling at clouds, but it's the social media/youtube/twitch "I have to have a strong opinion, and I have to have one fast!" mentality. It's not just kids, it's permeated all of society. Getting off of a majority of social media platforms, for me, was a very big upgrade for my mental health and I think most people would benefit from it. You no longer feel the need to have an opinion on something just to be part of the zeitgeist.you are right. funny thing is it has to some degree been going on for a long time in one form or another.
It has been going on for some time. It's gotten way worse than when I was a kid. I used to hear my young nephew (at the time) refer to players as "trash" and I was always taken aback by that. Where did he learn that at such a young age? This type of attention-seeking and strong invective permeates the culture in unseen ways until it's very seen and very heard.
From the mouths of babes.
Edit: to remain on topic, I will have to see Wilson do it again. I've yet to see anything that screams he's anything more than the best available option amongst bad options. He's not a great NFL QB from what I've seen.
