Speaking of Owens, the delayed start to the league's fiscal year has affected him as well. The Eagles now have until March 11 to either trade or release the wide receiver before they will owe him a $5 million roster bonus. The deadline had been Wednesday. The wide receiver, who may be meeting with the Miami Dolphins today, has about as much chance of getting that signing bonus from the Eagles as he does of eating Christmas dinner with Donovan McNabb's family.

As an avid fantasy football player, this one of the LAST places we want to see Owens. This would be sending him to a team with major QB issues and it would also drastically cut Chambers' value. Add to that the fact that he will probably be gone halfway through the season and it creates major drafting issues. We want Owens to go to a team with a good QB where there is no major #1 receiving threat- thereby keeping Chambers as a good #1 drafting target and putting Owens back in the mix somewhere.

And throw in the fact that the Miami WR have already came out and said they don't want him there and you have an ugly situation should he sign with them.

If he does go to Mia, with Chambers on the other side, Booker in the slot, and McMichael at TE, whatever QB ends up chucking the ball is going to put up some numbers.

It'll probably be Brees, so he would get a decent upgrade. Culpepper is also being shopped again apparently. But if it's someone like Ramsey, we're talking about a MAJOR fantasy value increase over where he sits right now. It's pretty clear from reports I'm reading that it won't be Frerotte.

Of course, if Owens lands here it'll mean a big hit to Chambers' fantasy value.
