What generator or battery pack should I buy for a home? (1 Viewer)

Some elderly friends need backup in case of power outages and they are too old to go looking for one so I am doing it for them. But I have no idea what to get. There is an elevator in the home which would take a lot of juice to run. It's old and broke again last week, leaving them stranded for a time. Not good. They cannot use stairs anymore.

My friend briefly told me about looking into some battery pack by Tesla. What the heck is that anyway?

You're not running a house, especially one with an elevator, off a battery.

They need a whole-home generator with an automatic transfer switch. Ideally if they're on natural gas, they get an LNG generator so they don't have to worry about gasoline.

10,000 Watt - so will run the entire house

Portable

Can run on 3 different fuels - natural gas, propane or gasoline.

Need plumber to run natural gas line to back of house - will also power my BBQ

Need electrician to set up switch box

Hope I neevr have to use it - but I'l be ready when the grid goes down
Thanks. What did the plumber and electrician cost you?
