Rotoworld has Beasley at DE and a blurb confirming his use in the Leo role in Atlanta (thus a DE).
There was some talk in another thread here about MFL lobbying Rotoworld otherwise, but that never made sense to me. MFL always adjusts to Rotoworld's depth charts and I don't see why they'd resist just in Beasley's case. Barring a change in role at training camp, I'd expect MFL to adjust in August (if not before).
Many seem convinced that he'll play LEO 100% of time, but seems like he has a good shot at playing OTTO in this scheme (like Irvin did much of the time in Seattle under Quinn). Irvin/Beasley are built very similarly, so it'd make sense.
MFL adjusts to Rotoworld's depth charts. Not NFL.com.Don't forget NFL teams are notorious for listing DE's as LB's in the attempt to maintain leverage when it comes to free agency/franchise tag designation. DE's make considerably more than LB's.

The report from those covering the Falcons after the draft and minicamp was Quinn would use Beasley in the Leo role of their 4-3 (so as a DE). Rotoworld based their DE designation on the camp reports. It has been posted here that the Falcons website still has him listed as a LB, but that's why I responded to your original post as I did. I pay little attention to the team websites. Teams are known to play games with them, and frankly they aren't the most accurate.

seems like confusion could have easily been avoided if MFL just ignored that misleading tweet from the Falcons after the draft. we all knew he was likely to play DE.
