Fanduel survivor (1 Viewer)

Are they payouts posted anywhere for this? Btw 3+car D is a serious sweat. Very close! I'd say 113ish makes it through

The payout structure for the $250,000 Survivor is as follows:

Position Prize 1st $25,000 2nd $15,000 3rd $10,000 4th $8,000 5th $6,000 6th $4,000 7th $2,500 8th $1,500 9th – 10th $1,250 11th – 12th $1,000 13th – 16th $800 17th – 21st $600 22nd – 32nd $500 33rd – 47th $400 48th – 62nd $300 63rd – 81st $200 82nd – 101st $150 102nd – 151st $125 152nd – 201st $100 202nd – 301st $80 302nd – 401st $60 402nd – 552nd $50 553rd – 752nd $40 753rd – 1,252nd $30 1,253rd – 2,000th $25 2,001st – 3,000th $20 3,001st – 4,000th $15 4,001st – 7,500th $10 https://www.fanduel.com/nfl-survivor

If half your teams made it this far (past Week 8), you are free-rolling.

The average entrant has 13% of his teams left.

Perhaps it's my reading comprehension, but I was under the impression they started cashing out week #5. It's already week 8 yet no automatic $?

If you advance in the 5th week of the survivor is when you're in the money. Since the survivor started week 3 this is the cut week.

  • I agree to attend the Survivor Final on Sunday, December 13th in a location to be determined. Should I finish in the top three spots in the Survivor final and not attend the awards ceremony, I will be eligible to receive only 50% of any prize money I otherwise would win at the Survivor Final unless I obtain the FanDuel Chief Operating Officer’s written permission by 48 hours prior to the official start time of the Sunday event. Because of anticipated media presence and the significant marketing value the Sunday event has for FanDuel, and because the value of my participation in the Sunday event cannot be calculated with precision but likely is proportional to my ranking in the results of the Survivor Final, I agree that this prize reduction is a reasonable method for compensating the company for the losses it will sustain by reason of my failure to fully participate in the Sunday event.

Travel/hotel costs are included.

It was originally set for Las Vegas, but they had to bail on that because fantasy sports might be illegal in Nevada.

They moved their other contest to San Diego, I assume this one is moving there too but haven't seen anything official yet.

With the cut from 7500 to 4000, what's the proper approach? Is a solid cash-game score good or are we starting to need a little more than that to advance?

A solid cash-game score should still be good this week (and next week with the cut going from 4,000 to 2,000). After that treat like a GPP.

I get that's the math on the cut line. But I'm willing to wager that the skill level of the average remaining entry in this contest is higher than any other 7500 person contest on FD this year. That's where I wonder what type of score is needed to beat 3500 entries that are almost all from people who play this game at a high level.

Who has teams left?

I started with 9 and have 4 left--5 going into week 9 and lost one.

Trying to decide if I will enter 1 or more lineups this week.

Well, it comes down to tomorrow night. I'm currently sitting at 96.62 with Nate Washington to go with my lone live entry. 100.64 is the current line. Quite a few trains done with less than 105, so I feel like I'll have a reason shot if I can get 12+ from him.

I have 97 with Nugent left...hoping for the best

I'm done at 104.76 and sitting at 1,622. I sweated it out last week by less than 1 point, hoping to do the same this week.

10 entries left. Good luck to everyone who is left! Done trying to survive, time to thrive!

4 of 50 left to go for it all! Wish I had a handful more. At worst I will break even in this if all 4 entries left min cash.

My lineup that is currently is in first was my "If everything else goes wrong" lineup. Had Freeman, West, Ivory, Langford, Calvin in a lot of lineups

Congrats!!! I had way too much West/Freeman/Miller/Ivory and did not make a "If everything else goes wrong" lineup -- will definitely do that with one lineup if I have multiple entries in future years.

Thanks appreciate it, I was fortunate enough to have all 50 of my lineups get through every week so I was able to build a contingency lineup.

Definitely should be a fun event, and congrats to Austin Lee who also made it who writes our FanDuel stacks article.

Wow. 40% of the participants from the FBG group. Excellent job.

Yes, Dodds said all along that he thought one of us would make it. I though he was overoptimistic. Turns out he wasn't optimistic enough.
