*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (10 Viewers)

Here are my thoughts for today:

1) Lamar Jackson 288+ passing yards

2) Marqise Brown 113+ receiving yards

Cleveland is missing its two top corners.  If Brown gets behind the defense, he can get 3/4 of his yards on one play.

3) T.J. Hockenson 60+ receiving yards

Julian Edelman is out, so I expect the short, safe throws to go Hock's way.

4) Parlay Miami +15, Wash/NYG O48, Pitt -3, Seattle -5.5, Jacksonville +2.5

Chargers are down to 8 players on offense (I think) plus an early game with West Coast team traveling East.  Miami held tough with Dallas for a half last week and I think they can keep this under 2 TDs.
Both defenses in the Washington - NYG game are terrible.  I can see a 31-28 score quite easily.
Andy Dalton in Primetime is hot garbage.  Get right game for Pittsburgh.
Seattle has transitioned to a pass-heavier offense, right in line with Arizona's weakness on defense.  Kyler Murray has not been good early in games and I can see Seattle building a 21-point lead early and easily covering.
The JAX call scares me, but Denver hasn't looked right and JAX defense can keep this a low-scoring game.  Maybe even win outright.  Plus, the 'stache might join the Mile High Club during halftime with all that swag.

Best of luck!

I have been wildly mediocre so far this football season.  I think every single thing I have posted in here has lost.  Staring that terrible streak in the face:

Stafford u 23.5/272.5

Dissly over 3.5/43.5

Fournette over 3.5 rec

Sutland over 3.5 rec
I'm on those stafford unders as well

With you on the Giants over with the Redskins off the short week. I got Redskins/Giants o49 +101

Also buying the Rivera on turf angle with Panthers/Texans o49 +109 cheers bro

Jags' coach hasn't traveled well in his entire career, especially in late, cross-country games. Plus you still got the Broncos early-season home game angle in effect. Broncos or Nathan for me.

I kind of knew Cleveland was gonna win. I replaced Green Bay DST with Browns DST before Thursday's game. Then second-guessed myself and plugged Rams DST instead. I swear I saw Cleveland creeping though. Also should have taken Atlanta's team total under. I really thought they'd be competitive 1H and I'd fade them 2H. Titans just went wire to wire on them.

Man, they're gonna make me take the 6 with Zona I think. Pete is literally 0-4 L4 in the Thursday look ahead spot. NFC West division opener for both teams, with Seattle's second division game only 4 days away. I'm doing it

Cardinals +6 -110

Frank Reich lost his first two home games as HC of the Colts and is undefeated at home ever since. He got 13 career wins: six wins by 3 or fewer and seven wins by 12+ points. He either beat you in a close game or blow you out by DD.. I think Oakland need 12 to cover today.
:whoosh:

Holy crap. Haven't tried to cap it at all, but are the Bears really down to a pick'em hosting the Vikings. What is that about.

Jeez I got taken to the cleaners on sides and totals in the early games.  It's almost like the nfl is impossible to beat.

Mets went down 2 runs in the 11th, only to score 3 in the bottom of the 11th to go over the season total 85.5 games.
 :  1 of the 16.  Kind of a miracle. Won 5 of 6 including a season-ending sweep of the Braves and that extra-innings stupidity to go over.

OOF.  That is all.

:lmao:  glad i checked in here. Saw my book was a bit of a blood bath (and thank Phillies for sucking D this year after you rode that hype train and made me put in all kinds of Phillies bets), but it is a little easier coming in here and seeing the shared pain and knowing we will get out of this hole. Easy come, easy go....

No guarantees in life and all of that......

that said I’d be genuinely shocked if that LSU -24 lime holds for this Saturday.  I Make it -34.5 vs Utah St and I’d still take LSU.

Lot of my stuff is on the projected game flow with spread home/away splits and when road dogs are winning straight up that = bad :(

Did have a nice day on contrarian betting on sides , but was terrible day in props

I'm seeing a ton of ads in PA for online sports betting now that legalization is sweeping through.  It's reminding me of the wave of new poker / casino sites post Moneymaker and how I was able to make a good chunk of money churning bonuses.  Are there good opportunities to make some money from bonuses for a sports betting novice?  (I did make a quick grand from that :Mansion: PIT/MIA free bet years ago thanks to money I had sitting around from a "Let's Poker" California Hold'em tourney sitting around, ah the good old days). Any websites / blogs covering this I could check out?

Here's what I'm seeing so far...

TIA!

Thanks for sharing. I just thought of it over the weekend, that I can be in Erie PA in an hour or so. I definitely have to take advantage of this, although I have a local that is pretty easy to deal with as well. Nonetheless, thanks for sharing!

I am sure this is a STUPID MLB BETS BECAUSE THAT IS ALL I DO.  But I want some skin in these wild card games soooo:

Fading post-injury Sherzer/playing hot Brewers/playing friggin tough Charlie Morton: BrewCrew +1.5/Rays +1.5 +175 Parlay
