*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (15 Viewers)

Opposing teams 0-10 and 1-9 ATS L10 versus Raves. The 49ers covered the spread - the only team that wasn't shut out in the 1Q and the only team that wasn't outscored in the 2H. Ravens outscored the opponent by 14,13,18,20,17,0,3,7,8,9 in the 2H of those L10 games. So going by these numbers, they've kinda throttled down in the 2H to end the season; not running it up as much as they were in those five games before playing SF. I bought this one and looking at fading the Titans 2H as well.

BAL wins 1st qtr & TEN scoreless 1st qtr +135

L10 versus Raves
combined 2Q scoring:  13,14,15,17,17,20,20,20,23,24

Pregame O/U for the 2Q is o14 -110. That looks good going by the results of those L10 games. I'm going to wait and see what it is live during the 1Q/2Q commercial break and try to buy an o13 if I can.

I'm still smilin
That 2H tonight man. Holy crap. And look at the 2H they did in Baltimore week 13. For real. I think they might be my fave to win it. Now just let the entire public line up and pay a bunch of juice to lay points on the AFC.. sheeeitt

Gimme Niners +4 against the Ravens on a neutral.  I beg you.

BOL is giving the NFC 3.5 -110 so it's almost there.. just sayin'

know what I'm sayin

yo did you see that playoff trend about teams on winning streaks? teams on super-long winning streaks don't traditionally cover the spread or something to that effect ..? these Saturday games snuck up on me :kicksrock: feel so unprepared

Hindsight, Titans probably should have been an obvious 1H bet.  Ravens starters haven't played for 2 weeks, Titans rolling pretty good.

So a constant question this week on VSiN (Brent Musberger's Vegas network) was "Which team among SF, Balt, KC blows up the parlays and teasers?  One is going to....."  Sigh.

5-8 inches of snow expected to hit Green Bay on Saturday night with occasional snow possible during the game on Sunday night.
@gbellseattle Latest forecast for Sunday in Green Bay: Winter storm watch ending 6am. 1-3" of snow ending by 3am. Partly sunny afternoon. Temperature to 20 by game time. Very little wind. Seahawks will take that, all things considered.

The most indispensable man for the Seahawks Sunday at Lambeau Field? Maybe Quandre Diggs. The addition of Diggs has been a huge boost for Seattle. The Seahawks are 5-1 in the six games Diggs has played since being acquired from the Lions. With him taking over center field duties, the Seahawks made marked improvements across the board defending the pass and creating turnovers in comparison to the first nine games of the season. "He's a really smart safety," Bobby Wagner said, "He understands concepts really well and that is something we noticed when he first got here. He was able to call out certain routes, certain plays in practice, and he has done it in games as well. His intelligence is off the charts. A great addition to our team for sure." K.J. Wright on Diggs returning at free safety after missing the previous two games with an injury: "It makes a big difference back there with him. He's a guy that's been in the league a long time. He was calling out plays before they were happening, telling us, and alerting what was coming. He made good open-field tackles. When he's out there, you can just feel his presence." Not only has Diggs taken charge of the secondary since he arrived, he also is the "Rodgers expert." Diggs faced Rodgers twice a year when he played for the Lions; a total of five games. No Seahawk has played Aaron Rodgers more. Even though it's a changed offense from what he played against in the past, Diggs still is being leaned on by teammates for little tips on how to try and slow down the hall of fame quarterback. "Any knowledge that he has is always good to gain," Wagner said.

Russell Wilson career 20-12 SU and 20-11-1 ATS against teams better than .700 after week three. sdql

  • Seahawks went 8-7 SU and 11-3-1 ATS as the dog (avg line +4)
  • Seahawks averaged 28±7 ppg on offense and the total went 23-8-1 to the over (19-1-1 when Seattle allowed more than 15 points)

Seahawks o21 -105

What's Wilson when temp is below 32?

Back in Vegas, first this tidbit from the aftermath of Titans' seismic upset of Ravens: One sportsbook veteran said never seen anything like it. Book's win was bigger than any this person could ever recall. Even the biggest Super Bowl win. @Covers

KC smokes Hou today. Lay the wood.
You could very well be right.  That said the wise guys made the number 7 and it’s gone straight up to 10 with money still coming in at 70% clip on KC.  I don’t see any value in jumping on KC at this point, it’s Hou catching the 10 or pass to me.
