cohen seems like he is getting more and more comfortable as this goes along frankly he seems like a guy with nothing to lose so he is just letting it all hang out brohans everyone knows you dont want to play the team with nothing to lose take that to the bank  

 
The Republican party seems very concerned with investigating Cohen, who is already going to prison, vut has chosen to completely abstain from investigating the allegations brought forth about the president. 

They are all putting themselves on the record here, and if it turns out that trump is guilty of serious crimes, i hope their actions bring them shame and consequences.

This post is so incredibly awful that I'm honestly starting to wonder why I bother visiting a forum whose rules prevent us from giving it, and you, the responses you so very clearly deserve.

And funny how closely related Cohens crimes are to things that Trump is suspected of (in regards to financial crimes)

 
Cohen just said the other recordings he has were being reviewed as part of ongoing investigation.

Wasn't his other client Sean Hannity?

A consistent theme seems to be that the GOP members of this committee don't understand the mission of the committee, or the basic idea of committees. Or at least they're not interesting in being truthful about it.  Overseeing the integrity and behavior of the executive branch is exactly what they're supposed to be doing.  They're not wasting time they could be spending on border security, because border security isn't really under their jurisdiction.

I was in a meeting, but its my understanding Rep. Amash did a good job. And he's basically the only Republican to do so. Agree?

Also maybe keep this in mind for some big picture perspective:

Obvious but worth repeating: "the President has had a lying dirtbag as his right-hand man this whole time" is the PRO-Trump argument today.

And btw, we have to get to the bottom of this. So if you know of any non-sleazy non-liars in the Trump inner circle that would be more credibly and who are willing to testify, please educate us. Maybe call your congressman and tell them about it.

Presidents don't get indicted and convicted, they get impeached and removed. Their impeachment and removal depends on members of Congress, and by extension people like you, reaching logical conclusions based on the availble evidence.

Not saying you have to reach a certain conclusion (although I think it's fairly obvious at this point). But you don't get to pass responsibility off to federal prosecutors and say it's not your business and you'll wait for their actions.  In some sense we're all collectively the DA and the jury on this one.

At work and haven’t followed but let me go out on a limb and guess all the regulars that spend the day in here think this is groundbreaking while others that don’t spend 24/7 bashing Trump point to the zero credibility of this slimeball?

Just kind of predictable that’s all. 

ETA also let me know if all the Northam wait and see guys want Trumps head.
