Team 1 acquired a lot of picks for this draft and got quite a haul: Taylor, Akers, Reagor, Dillon, Aiyuk, Bowden, and Lewis. That is a really strong infusion of young talent for a team that was in the semifinals last season.

In the middle of a 12 team PPR dynasty draft right now

Dobbins 9th? Tua 10th? Reagor 17th?

Crazy draft.
In 8 Team even being SF Tua 10th isn't THAT crazy. Would have probably expected him to go like 7.

I watch a ton of Big 10 and Big 12 football and had come to the conclusion that Reagor is a bust based on how he completely disappeared in games (he had bad QB play but this happened often even when TCU racked up points against teams like Kansas--Reagor wouldn't even be the leading WR on the team) and the Eagles--being not very good at evaluating WR talent from what I have seen--picking him confirms that for me like it did for Corey Coleman.

I was however surprised to see that the rest of my league shared this opinion, including an Eagles fan who took Ruggs and Higgins over him and a TCU fan who went Dillon and McFarland over him.

Dobbins 9th was insane though. I was trying so hard to trade up, but I used up so much draft capital to get 1.1 and 1.2 after originally having 1.6 and 1.8--but the guy who owned 2.1 originally knew what kind of bargain he had. Wanted AJ Brown straight up

Was this a superflex league?  Because no way Burrow and Tua should go that early in a start 1qb league unless QBs have some ridiculous scoring rules.

I personally have burrow ranked ninth in one qb leagues. Tua is down at eighteen for me but I could see him being higher. I think the selections are perfectly acceptable

I am fascinated by Moss and Dillon. Both going pretty close in most drafts. I think one will rise and become relevant in FF in the next couple of years, just can’t decide who I like more. Gun to head I think Moss will end up being better long term.

QBs went 11 and 12 in ours because rosters are 60, cut downs to 51. You need starting QBs. They're precious that way.

Email draft conducted during the week.  One note about our scoring is that every team has to start a rookie, so rookie QBs tend to go higher (since having a starting rookie QB can be a massive advantage in this league).

Thats as far as we are right now. I was at 1.04 and 1.12. Was hoping Lamb or Jeudy continued to slide but not surprised they didn't make it to me. Happy enough with Reagor.

I'm pretty surprised to see Swift going regularly over Dobbins as of late.
Is it really that surprising?  Swift went 20 picks higher than Dobbins in the NFL draft.  Sure, Dobbins is playing in a better offense, but with much more competition at least initially, and with a QB who will definitely take some rushing TDs.

I don't know, if I had the pick between the two, I think I lean Swift.

I get the argument, and clearly many others agree, but I'm in on Dobbins.

Draft capital of 20 picks doesn't mean much to me.  All it means is one team wanted one guy over another and I trust Baltimore's scouting department more than Detroit's.  Also, I think a running QB will overall help Dobbins production, not hurt it.  Better offense... rising tide and all...

So you're telling me there's a chance!!!!  I'm sitting at 1.11 in an upcoming draft and have been trying to slide up into the mid-1st to go after Lamb or Jeudy but haven't found any takers.  You give me a sliver of hope...

Not to crush your dreams, but note that this was a 2QB league which pushed Burrow and Tua up several slots from where they might go otherwise.

I'm sitting at 1.16 for a draft on Saturday; this league always seems to have someone go off the rails early so I'm wondering who will be there for me.

Yeah, it seems highly unlikely that you will see Burrow, Tua and Herbert go off the board in the first round in a non-2QB draft.  Still, I am at least mildly surprised to see Jefferson go ahead of Swift, Lamb and Jeudy.  (Even taking the QBs out of the equation, Lamb dropped to the 8th pick)

I did catch that.  Mine's not 2 QB, but I'm expecting Burrow to go #3 (guy lost Luck last year and only has Fitzmagic and Carr) and Tua to possibly go to another owner at #7 who may be looking to replace Brees.  There's 99% chance I'm screwed but seeing that one reminds me that weird things can happen...still trying to swing a trade to get a little higher though

Moss before Akers and Jeudy?  He will regret that later. Burrow at 1.04 in a start 1 QB league is an eye opener unless there are ridiculous QB scoring rules.  If basic QB scoring that is a bad pick at 1.04.

It appears to be a 16 team league, which I assume really inflates the value of a QB (never been part of a league like that).

Not sure if the link works- 10 Team Dynasty- NO PPR(except .5 for TE) - standard scoring -Superflex -IDP Balanced scoring (1.5 per tackle/.75 assist, 4 pts for each sack/int, 3 pts for each forced/recovery fumble, 1 pt for each pass def)

Start 10 OFF 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1flex(RB,WR,TE), 1 SFlex(QB, WR, TE)-cannot start 4RBs IF you start 2QBS

Start 10 DEF 3 DL, 3LB, 3DB one Flex

Have similar scoring Dynasty next week - only difference is it is a tiered PPR(.5 RB, 1 WR, 1.5 TE) Next week.

Will post next Saturday

Yeah, 16 teams distorts the QB value just due to scarcity; although the guy that took him already had Matt Ryan. There are some owners in the league not well-versed in VBD, and who may also be drafting off of redraft cheatsheets.  Rookie QBs always seem to go earlier than they "should".

FYI, this is a contract-based league, so not a typical keeper nor a true dynasty. We do 2 rounds of rookie-only before moving on to combined rookie/FA rounds.

The hype is real. I get Edwards looks great by all accounts, but he was the 14th WR taken in this class. Too rich for my blood

Yeah Edwards was my pick. I feel he fits the offense better than Ruggs and if he wasn't injured during the combine he would have been at least a 2nd round pick if not a 1st. He has an easier path to targets and a significant offensive role this year too imo.

I have several WR rated real close in that tier but most of them are buried for this year.

I agree.  I personally have Edwards clearly below guys like Ruggs, Aiyuk, Higgins, Pittman and Shenault, although it is not unreasonable to rank Edwards higher.  That said, the benefit of targeting a guy like Edwards should be that you can grab him a little later, so I would have explored trading down and getting some added value in the deal.  I have, however, faced instances where trading down would not have yielded me enough to warrant the risk of missing out on my player, so I have pulled the trigger on a player well above his ADP.

Yeah I was sitting at 2.06 and might have been able to wait and still get him but it was going to be very close and I only traded the 2.06 + 2021 2nd to move up to 1.10. Felt that was pretty cheap.
