All that and also this, and I guess it's open to interpretation, but I took his "yet" to mean it's what he intends to do and has not "yet" got around to it, not something he's "yet" to decide to think about.
@DNewtonespn
Dave Canales said he hasn't discussed with running back Chuba Hubbard...
It just blows my mind how he's not able to play on day 28 of his injury, but on day 29 the coach is extremely confident he's good to go. Like how can you be out on Sunday and good to go on Monday after a month off?
I guess the answer is they did not want him to return and play two games in 4...
Don’t know the exact splits but I don’t think I can read Canales quotes today and not come away 100% convinced that Rico is now the primary RB.
To me it’s a matter of how long, what happens if/when Chubba performs at least on par before it moves back to a more even split or in Chuba’s favor...
Low end RB2 IMO.
Keeping in mind the bar is not that high. If we remove stuff some stuff like Rb's on the same team whose usage flip flopped over injuries, like Chubba/Rico, you see that RB24 in PPR is hitting close to the 12 PPG PPR mark.
Last year he did not really ascend to the primary role...
This would have made some sense a few weeks ago but you got to read the room now.
He's now their primary RB on team that is one one game out of the playoffs.
Whole league could have signed him and his interest was minimal. Even a guy like Breece Hall would only likely get a day 3 pick back...
Not that he’d have saved the day but for as little as Roger McCreary just got traded for and the surplus of picks I just don’t understand why they were not involved.
I think Kirk is available in a trade if they can find a taker. This was reported a few weeks ago by one of the major national reporters, just can't recall if it was Shefter, Rap or Fowler.
Berrios returned to the game so he's probably fine but regardless I feel like this team is stuck on the...
Short version is Juedy is playing really bad and now they have a QB who struggles throwing anything other then to the TE's.
I recall last year loading up on Juedy and almost cut him in two leagues heading into week 8. He was WR69 in PPR at that time. He was WR7 in PPG the ROS.
Obviously he...
One other note on Taylor. Unless the Jets are playing funny business with their injury reporting this guy is an amazing fast healer and/or tough.
Only missed a few days of training camp for what was reported as a high ankle sprain. Then misses the day of practice this week with a quad and Rap...
Actually no. Not to argue for the sake of it, just having a discussion, but I thought this was properly billed as a big 2 in a deep and loaded TE class.
One of the big 2 of course has kinda sucked, but based on NFL draft capital the initial consensus seemed right.
I know I started drafting in...
