I'll give you my thoughts. How large is your league? We play in a 10 team, PPR league. I like our format of 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, Flex, TE, K, DST. Our flex can be a RB/WR/TE though I'm not sure I've ever seen anybody in our league use two TEs. More often than not folks use 3RB (maybe 60% of the...
Rudi went at 3.06 in our league. Couldn't believe it.We had a couple of other doozies too. Guys like James Hardy in the 8th round, when much greater value was there.
Jeff, we had our draft Sunday and here is what I ended up with. Any particular thoughts on my weaknesses? It played out a little like I had expected and TO was gone, but MJD was there. We're a PPR league. Here's my team:1.10 Fitz2.1 Braylon3.10 Michael Turner (I feel my worst pick...chose...
Jeff, thanks for the comments. So would you consider MJD to be the bottom of that tier if I'm drafting at 10/11, given the keepers I mentioned? Would you go RB/WR if MJD was gone and I was left with a McGahee or Graham? Unless Bush or MJD present themselves for me, the others just below them...
Jeff, we have moved to a keeper league this season after doing redrafts w/o keepers for years. I have Adrian Peterson as my keeper (we're keeping 1 this year) and he's my 4th round pick (pick 31). I have the 10th pick in our 10-team league, so I'll have picks 10,11, 30, 31 (Peterson), etc...
Many would prefer to know the draft order ahead of time to plan, but some will like the surprise element. I like the idea of choosing your draft order. Good to change things up sometimes.
Thanks for comments. A follow up, in no order...- I meant a replacement owner. Just give him the old owners team? or let him have 1st pick?- When you said "start with a new draft" do you mean wait until next year to start going with keepers so thta we enter this season with that in mind for...
Jeff, we are considering moving from a basic redraft to a keeper league, but none of us have done it before.
What's the best way to start it? Here are a few of our thoughts: keep up to 3 players from prior year, but none taken in rounds 1 or 2 (one guy's idea). Picks cost you 2 rounds higher...
Our league has a few sharks, a few in the middle, and last year we brought in this new guy who personified guppy. He shows up to the draft empty handed, proceeds to have a horrible draft and a really poor season.
This year, we were hoping for more of the same, but he pulls the 1st pick (LT)...
Took him 1.02 and he's disappointed, but I took Ocho Cinco and Steve Smith at 2.09 and 3.02 (picks 19 and 22) when my fellow owners were taking tier 2 RBs and so far, I'm going well. PPR league. Ahman and A. Peterson (Minn. version) are my RB2 and RB3. Hoping that Sjax starts to produce b/c...
