In mocks where I wait forever on QB I've been getting a lot of Purdy in rounds 9+ (single QB). Seems like a steal, but QB seems oddly deep this year overall.
Man, this injury has me feeling not great. I was hoping yesterday was just a rest day but now... I have him in a SF league and my backup was Russ and someone already has Flacco. Wack.
If he's playing, I start him. Mainly because the options on the wire are thin and I'd rather go down with the guys ho got me here than lose because I picked the wrong waiver wire lottery ticket.
I agree with Darnold. Only fear is that if Howell is their starting QB could be a settled game early and MIN won't have to pass as much.
Oof... yeah I think Gus is the play? Maybe Kmet since the Bears are almost certainly going to be playing catchup all game.
Could really see an argument for...
I'm personally backing up Conner and Cook with Benson and Davis.
I also grabbed Kendre Miller off waivers last night.
My other RB is Dowdle and no handcuff there.
Thanks again for another solid year of rankings, Travdog. A tough task, especially with us knuckleheads poking at it every week, but mad respect for defending your positions and making adjustments. It always spawns a good convo. It's helped me make trade/lineup moves all season and I'm 2 for 2...
It's so weird because Cook is good in space and is arguably better as a third down/passing option back than Johnson. I think defenses also key in on the run when they see Cook in there. From a playcalling perspective it's pretty braindead IMO.
I might be starting Rico over him going forward...
