Great day for us. The manager has bought BRob just lost a WR.
We you do a Jayden Reed for BRob deal?
We start 2WR and my Reed is my WR4 behind Lamb, Diggs, and Kirk.
I think I should do it for better CMC security. I can cut Guerrendo and find another WR.
In a standard PPR league, I have to choose between Charbonnet and Mason. My opponent will only have a DEF left at 4pm, so I should know where I stand. I like Mason and his matchup.
If my matchup is projected to be close at 4pm, would you start Zach?
If I am projected to need big points...
I went Stars and Scrubs and landed big fish. Still had some money socked away for the cuff, but someone paid blood money for BRob. Dunno why. I now have Guerrendo and a Powerball ticket.
My concern is not week 1. Its the specter of this season long drama. I bought him at auction for value and am just bemoaning our luck. He cruised through the summer without the slightest peep. Now he feels something -- 2 days before kickoff
I get the risk/reward proposition and believe I capitalized on it as well. What is game changing is the specific calf injury label. To all of a sudden evoke the C(alf) word is a paradigm shift.
McCaffrey pops up on injured report. Someone snipped B. Robinson in my high stakes 13-teamer. I assume Guerrendo is the #3 back to target?
How worried should we be?
I drafted him a 12-team redraft. He has a Jones fracture in his left foot but plans to play through the injury this season. I was going to dump him for a Legette or Palmer. Should we wait and see what happens in week 1?
We had out auction last night. Again this is a 13-team PPR league where we start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE and 1 Flex. All TDs, including passing TDs are 6 pts and all first downs are 1 pt. I think I did well other than my last WRs. I don't think I can carry Aiyuk and Reed if the latter is hurt...
One other point I should have mentioned. Managers can "cap out" early -- leave the draft with less than 17 players. Stars and scrubs approach may happen.
We play cash waivers so that may disincentivize some folks.
Hi,
My home league runs a live snake draft. We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE and K/DEF. 7 bench spots. PPR scoring with 4 pts per passing TB and bonus for 300 yards.
I am only FBGuy in the room and people take QBs early.
I will be running DD and will react to room. But I am planning on...
Hi,
I have a 14-team PPR auction in a few days with one wrinkle. We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE and 1 Flex. All TDs, including passing TDs are 6 pts. The wrinkle is that we also score 1 pt for any kind of first down. This makes guys like Lamar Jackson very valuable. We have a deep (8 man)...
I lost a few QBs (Burrow, Herbert) and WRs (Chase and Dell) in my 12-team PPR league. I am a projected 6 point underdog with this lineup:
QB Mullens (sit Minshew)
RB Swift and Cook (sit Mixon)
WR A. St.-Brown, Wicks (sit Palmer, P. Washington, Mingo and Pierce)
TE Hockenson (sit McBride)...
Thank you for the solid advice. Closing the loop here. My team is solid for a 12-team PPR. 2RB: Cook and Swift and sit Mixon; 2 WR: Chase and St. Brown; TE: Hockenson
I was ready to start Mishew and then someone dropped R. Wilson. I scooped him up in waivers this morning with all of my...
***It makes me sick to ask this question***
Four weeks ago I was the #1 seed in my league and headed for a first round bye. After injuries to my QBs Burrow and Herbert, I limped into playoffs and have to pick a turd for my first round playoff game.
In a 4pt passing/ 6pt rushing TD (with a...
