🇪🇺 ⚽ EURO 2020 ⚽ 🇪🇺 People are saying THIS is the new greatest moment in sports history (1 Viewer)

I’m not sure what to make of this game.  Spain scoring a ton of goals but not looking like world beaters doing it.  Italy has been the best side in the tournament so far but this one could go either way.  Gun to head I’d take Italy but Spain winning wouldn’t surprise me at all.  Just hoping for an entertaining match.
didn't they ever learn ya to read an' write A3?

it said don't open 'til ...

lotta respect for the Spaniards, but i've built this roll up all tourney to pop Italy on some negotiable juice.

i got it for this one.

Getting very nervous for the game.  Won't be in here much unfortunately.  Getting a bunch of my Italian friends together and we're heading to an Italian restaurant for lunch/the game.  They've got a huge projector and it's gonna be packed with Italian fans.  Should be good.

OptaJoe - looking for the reverse Jinx:

16 & 15 - Heading into tonight’s semi-final, Spanish pairing Dani Olmo (16 attempts – 1.2 xG) and Gerard Moreno (15 attempts – 3.3 xG) have had more shots without scoring than any other players at #EURO2020 . Limelight. #ITA #ESP

I fully expect both to score now :oldunsure:
In my FM covid game last year Olmo turns into a really good #10, never got loads of goals though.

simulation in tact

People on Reddit losing their minds about Morata not starting... they must have never seen him play before.

I'm torn here - to catch you, I really should have gone for some differentials.

But, I did not really think about that until after I made my transfers...   :kicksrock:
Ended up with:

6 England, 4 Spain, 3, Italy, 2 Denmark

Obviously counting on a England clean sheet and a couple of goals.  I do expect Italy to win, but the combination of players I had from the last round, budget, and injuries to Spinazzola and Sarabia and Morata not starting meant I ended up with more Spain that Italy.

Pedri had the most appearances for Barcelona this year, has started all of the games in Euro, and is trying to play in the Olympics. At least he isn't wasting his youth at 18
