One of my friends from HS posted a change.org poll on FB supporting saving the name. Me being the smartass that I am asked if he had a link to the other poll. He unfriended me. Granted, I'd also been doing a little Trump-bashing. But I think his reaction would fall under the "snowflake" category.

Eskimo Joe's already said they aren't changing the name. 

I did learn that Eskimo in Canada and Alaska is similar to the n-word in the US.  So I am not opposed to them changing, but I also don't really care.
