Other than Mount, they look bereft of ideas.

Eta... They need CP in here to break open a few players. This pass around and lob a hopeful cross in thing isn't working.

I know it's obviously way early, but I don't think Everton are going to be exiting from the top few spots of the table any time soon. And they're going to score a lot of goals this year.

Strange that CP vs EV has turned into an exciting quality game.

But yeah...they look good for now. Do they have the depth? If Hummus gets hurt, are they just another everton mid table squad?

They probably aren't real deep. But they aren't playing in Europe, so that should help.

I do agree they look solid.

Wow.  Turned on the Chelsea game a little after halftime.  Based on the highlights it appears Chelsea hasn't fixed their defensive issues from last year.  Hell of a comeback though.

Why isn't Giroud rated higher?  He always seems to be doing positive things on the pitch.

CHO finally looked good.  Chelsea really need creative people on the wings for their game style to work and Callum provided that in the second half from what I saw.  They desperately need Pulisic though and it's obvious.

Harry Kane got a red card after the final whistle

ETA: Apparently immediate Twitter reactions aren’t always accurate

We'll take the points But it's a bad rule and I'd be mad too if I was Hodgson or Mourhino. The managers have to get together and lobby the FA to change the rule.
"It's a total nonsense... We're ruining the spectacle. We got away with one today, we were fortunate, but it could have happened the other way."

Well, considering the hurricane and not yet using the Peacock app, this was a heck of a first Spurs match to watch. I saw some soccer earlier in the week and heard them complaining about the new handball rule. They should find the person(s) responsible for it, and put them in front of a firing squad.

Might be the only time you ever see this, but Barcelona is currently 19th out of 20 in La Liga. At least for the next 40 minutes.

Swag subbed out for Artur.

Tbh, he was really sloppy with his passes in the second half.

Roma look better to me. No idea what Juve is trying to do tactically on either side of the ball.
