Watched this today and it's possibly the best doc I've ever seen. In a nutshell it's about how blacks have been targeted unfairly by the war on drugs, overzealous politicians, and for-profit prisons, and counter movements like the Black Panthers and BLM. Obviously subject matter that will not be taken well by some, but the truths are undeniable. It's well edited and powerful and imo everyone should watch it even (or especially) if it pisses you off. One sequence involving Trump is like a mic-drop moment. Go watch it now.

the problem i have with documentaries like this is that they ignore the fact that we're all the same. there is no such thing as black or white, man or woman, straight or gay. we're all just people, man.

people that try to cause differences that don't exist are just rabblerousers. they're only trying to stir up people to further their own political agenda for monetary gain.

there's nothing to see here. slavery was over like 60 years ago. that's older than my parents. people, like, just need to get over it.
