14 Killed in Shooting in San Bernardino (1 Viewer)

I don't see these tweets anymore. Did he delete them? Are they not the right names? He seemed right about Farook hours ago but now he has a new name instead of these two.
Weird twitter accout
The guy is usually on it, but he is a bit of an ego-maniac/anti muslim/pro-military right leaning. He "predicted" a few weeks ago that we'd be attacked before NOV 16' because "they know we won't do anything about it before then" and now he's gloating about it.

Watching this American-Islamic press conference. We need to see a lot more of these where Islamic people stand and condemn these events (ignoring for a moment whether it gets confirmed that it is religiously motivated).
They do it every time, but it rarely gets on television. But even so, it's late. How many people are watching this? And how can CAIR possibly compete with Donald Trump telling lies about Muslim celebrations after 9/11?
That's why I'm saying we need to see more of it. What prevents them from sitting down with news outlets and continue to condemn these behaviors. At a minimum it is good for young Muslims to see it as that may help minimize the possibility that they get turned to this extremism. Broadcast this en masse globally - continue to expose these extremists for what they really are.
A good start would be if the CAIR spokeswoman would take off her hijab.

ATF: All 4 weapons have been traced. 2 purchased legally to person in the investigation

Why?

Why not? It's, at worst, a forced submission. At best, a "hey, look at me"

How difficult is it to purchase a fully automatic assault rifle? If it is semi-automatic, how difficult is it to convert it to fully automatic?

There was a nice, peaceful march by Muslims in Boise last week.

One gun was legally purchased.
4 weapons found on scene, at least 2 of them legally purchased.

Because we need assault rifles to hunt deer!!!!

Sums up America IMO.

I'm pro 2nd amendment, and very anti-assault weapon. It's amazing the lobby the NRA has, guys like TPW are fully loaded in a bunker for a threat that'll never come, while the rest of America has to live with the prospect of an assault rifle showing up at a shopping mall.

On the ABC evening news (6:30 PST) the FBI spokesperson and/or investigator used the word maybe when characterizing the possibility of terrorism, which was telling for me in that he could have said something more vague like early in the investigation/don't have that information presently.

It seems like most of these shooting rampages, mass killings end up with a kill (from law enforcement/suicide) or capture, but AT THE SCENE.

A good point was made on the news that this scenario didn't fit the typical psycho killer profile (when I head three shooters, terrorism came immediately to mind, other than the two Columbine students, it generally involves one person - though I forgot the very recent Oregon college one with nine fatalities, I think that was multiple shooters and coordinated, but also terrorist related?). Got in fast, did horrific damage and got out fast, than escaping (for a while - sounds like a phone tip may have led to a house where the suspects had fled to, I initially thought they got into the shootout with police directly fleeing from the mass shooting). Not very disgruntled employee-like, tactical and precise.

* I assumed the two deceased suspects (and the one captured) were the shooters. Any info to suggest that they weren't necessarily the shooters, possibly if terrorism related, part of a larger cell, and the shooters could still be at large?

Maybe terrorism and disgruntled employee don't have to be mutally exclusive (though, to my knowledge, they always have been previously).

If a terrorist was going to randomly kill strangers, what would prevent him/her from attacking a less random target, achieving the same goal with some personal connection attached.

One of the two deceased being a woman also was unusual, if not terrorist related. Like serial killers, mass shooters of the psycho killer variety seem invariably male.

so husband and wife team. He worked with them for 5 years had an argument with someone, gets thrown out of the party and returns with his wife and opens fire

I might be crazy, but I think this qualifies as terrorism.

And they both just happened to have all of their guns and bombs ready to go?? Seems like not only was the shooting premeditated, but the "argument" was premeditated as well. Maybe he went to the party looking for a fight?

So does Sandy Hook, the SC church shooting, the Va Tech shooting, Fort Hood, Aurora, etc.

It's all terrorism.

what a weird target and thing to do if it is isis inspired. No witness said they were screaming the usual religious nonsense, they tried to escape, they didn't try to kill as many people as possible etc....

Do you and your wife have bombs, armor, assault rifles ready to go for an argument?

According to police chief, it likely wasn't a spur of the moment thing. There had to be an element of planning.

That's true but I suspect a good portion of american citizens actually do.....
I'd find that highly unlikely
do you honestly believe that the michigan miltia types, the sovereign movement people are not prepared for war at all times?

that being said it would seem unusual for educated people in southern california to be prepared for war unless they were actually planning something. If you are trying to be a terrorist though as soon as you target people you know it becomes more of a targeted killing doesn't it? Especially if you go to the trouble of faking an argument. Now everyone thinks it's over a grievance...why would you do that?

Well it was a holiday party that the suspect attended. Maybe a day of planning?

Are you suggesting the guy is Kalid Sheik Muhammad?
